IHJ-48 - Black Quilted Racing Jacket

Just picked up the final L of this bad boy!
Very excited to be warm again!

@Giles - any pic of your black one without the patch? I saw on the product description it mentioned you did this. wondering what the holes look like… thanks!

I don't think I can even see them anymore. I'll check it out in the morning
Is that because your eyes are so old or are the holes that small?

Hey Adam, here is a pic for ya. This is freshly removed, I’m guessing the holes/spots where the patch was removed will dissipate with time. I’m going to cover it with a new patch. The big white spots will still be visible on the outside of the new patch, but I’m not worried. This jacket is way better in person, imo. I could not give a stronger recommendation to go for it. Pm me if you want more pics, I’ll get you whatever you need. @Appfaff

Killer! Thanks Clay! I wonder is a machine wash will help fill the holes… is the shell nylon or is the entire thing Poly?

Damn, I'm not sure. It feels the same on the inside and out. It's a soft material and the jacket feels really light weight. I think it will be great in Spring and Fall. Even tho the exterior and lining feel the same, I swear the lining is a little bit different. Little softer and shinier maybe. I will have to defer this question to the experts.

It looks amazing! As do the jeans!

I don't have any pictures on hand, but I wanted to share my 2 cents regarding this jacket.
First of all, it is super duper light. When I say it is a light jacket, I mean this thing weights less than a midweight iron heart flannel. I haven't tested its packability, but it was very easy to make into a makeshift pillow, albeit that the back of my head and neck got a little sweaty.
Secondly, this thing is WARM! Sure, it's not going to stave away hypothermia on a frozen tundra, but it just might be enough to make you sweat during a chilly evening. Perhaps it is just me, but I really need to be cold or for there to be a substantial windchill for me to really need to push the jacket. This thing dominates any chilly night.
In summation: this thing is a steal and buy it now at it's current price. You'll be kicking cold right in the ass for years to come.
