Nah man. They got it on the big island and on Maui once in a while. Above 10k feet.

Drinking a cider and rescanning some old negs, this is from a roll of Kodak Portra 400:

@moto yep, that one certainly deserved to be scanned…beautiful picture and perfect exposure!
Tell us which cider aids scanning old negatives. I never managed to scan my old positives with a scanner I bought ten or more years ago. Never managed to sort out the color thing: space, balance, etc. I was recently wondering whether the announced scanner accessory for the new Nikon D850 is easier to use than the old 4000 Nikon scanner.
Cheers.

@motojobobo thanks bud. Drinking Stem Ciders 'Real Dry', 6.8% ABV, not too sweet and a decent price to boot. Stem is some of the best stuff going at the moment, IMO, but dangerous, goes down like water.
I hear you on the scanning process, it's a PITA. I prefer to shoot film still because I despise the post processing workflow for digital. I'm using a Plustek scanner with Silverfast software. It has specific film presets and that's pretty much all I'm doing to the images, at least that's usually the goal haha … I'm unfamiliar with the new Nikon scanning products, can't offer any help there. My coolscan from the 90's recently shit the bed which is why I moved over to the Plustek.

This will be more of a "what have you been doing lately" post. Outside of the occasional one liner, I haven't had much time to post anywhere.
The IT nerds, out there, will probably appreciate this more than anyone else…
I was awarded the pleasure of installing and piping the CRAC units for the project I'm currently on. I hope to snap more pics, when the room is complete.
