Been wearing this thing around campus through all the snow and cold we've been having in the midwest… I feel nothing. I'm absolutely in love with this thing.
-
It's not what I would describe as 'very' warm; better with a down jacket or just layer up properly for low temperatures - the lining feels like Polartec 100 weight, but Cordura shell adds great weatherproofing . In my mind it does a fair job of being 'technical' but obviously the cut (and purpose) is different.
It feels windproof, it's very rainproof and tough as old boots . . . and looks the business - so basically, you should buy it - being the last one and all . . .….makes me want one of these.

Good to hear Geo. Thanks for posting 4 or 5 pics of the thing and providing some good descriptions that were instrumental in helping me make my mind up. I just bought the last large in the 'pale brown'/ dark olivey green photographically non compliant mystery color.
I froze my ass off a lot this winter but that won't happen the next one. -
I've convinced myself, somehow, that this pic is the closest to the actual color:
…sure wish I had a heavy weight too. I missed those this season. Bet it's the cat's tits too.

Yep, that is pretty bloody accurate…........
good, something about that cut in that color… looks all business and no guff.

that little set is easily my best single purchase - bar none . . . plus I got them on sale
most of the pics I've posted up with the 06 are fairly accurate colour-wise - so if you like what you see you'll love what you're getting
