@Max:
Thanks Mate! I surely wouldnt say no to a class of wine of that collection, just to see whats possible
Honestly, it’s probably lost on me, but then again I think it would be lost on 99% of people. I have a friend who is a sommelier and he geeks out whenever I send him photos of stuff we have found, but I am not educated on wine enough to know much more than common knowledge. I will admit it’s fun to do a little digging and see what’s the story behind the bottles though.

A couple years ago A friends father opened a bottle of this for thanksgiving and it was excellent. Def wastes on me but I really appreciated it.

Sounds like we are in similar boats @matty123 - I consider myself of “good taste,” although I would never spend the $$ on a bottle, I thoroughly enjoy when it’s shared making friends and family - good wine, food and beer have always been a focal point of conversation within my family, so it’s nostalgic in a sense.

So it turns out organising a schedule for a jacket tour with 18 participants is tough. The problem in the main is that we're all northern hemisphere and most of us live in temperate/rather chilly climates, leaving the issue of what to do in the winter. Also some of us will be waiting a loooong time before seeing the jacket. The jacket is going through the US, over to Germany, back to the UK, up to Norway then back to the US again in the course of the next 18 months. Alex and Giles will have to hope for a clement British winter in a year's time. But hey, it's already looking like a great tour, so it's up to each of us to make the best out of it. Layering up or down will be the way to go.
EDIT: 8th May 2018 - Schedule changed:

@neph93 - NOR - April 2019
@scooter - US - May 2019
@DrBabyhorse - US - June 2019
@DK - US - July 2019In case Americans, Brits or Germans wish to organise meet ups/in person handovers, I'm perfectly fine with small changes to the schedule within your respective countries but I ask that you do the following: Organise it amongst yourselves via PM and then let me know the plan. As long as I can see that it works out I'll make the changes here.
Thanks to @Appfaff for the great kick off and thanks again to you all for getting involved and making it happen. Let's enjoy ourselves.

Last night we had a bit of a cooking bonanza to get the fridge stocked for the week
Pork Belly Fried Rice:
I made meatballs for dinner
Beer, of course [emoji851]
Token martini while working on some job search stuff - not sure why, but I like my martinis super cold and a little icy lol [emoji23]
Today’s outfit with the ODL
Little afternoon coffee action
Selling a truck for a client of mine, so took some “glamour shots”
And crammed the thing into the garage
Bonus of the kids playing

Thanks @neph93 - it’s been my “throw on and run out of the house” jacket the last few days. Sadly, I had to layer my down vest over it today due to some nasty weather.

Whoever detailed the truck looked like they did a good job!
Actually quite hard to get a silver that glossy looking. -
Thanks @organisys - I clay barred it. Hopefully the buyer shows tomorrow. Took about 2 hours before 3 guys all asked to see it. It sat at a “you sell it Lot” for 3 weeks with no calls, so my client was happy to hear the good news, and my wife was happy to hear about the commission lol [emoji13]
@Neph93 “it’s a different kind of cold” lol [emoji23]

Short update on last night. Enjoyed a local Mobile, Alabama IPA, made steaks, and paired with the Prairie “Twist” Dry-Hopped Farmhouse Ale.
Today was out running errands in the lefty [emoji41]
