Great scores both Alex and Filthy. Really dig those black raptor wedge soles on the Romeos eps. I've seen some great romeo make ups from Wesco's Japanese IG accounts. Thanks for reminding me, seems like a great alt to either lace ups or engineers.

Just received my try on pair of Jobmasters from Baker’s boots, but these won’t be sent back. Size 11 E is a perfect for me, which is one size up from my Viberg size. Thanks to everyone who put up with my annoying sizing questions a couple weeks back.

If I was to deduct one point for the heel lift inside…
I have to post somewhat of a retraction because the arch on the sole/lift is much better today. It's already breaking in.
So I guess they are now rated an 11/10.
Another detail I love about my new shoes is how the grain of the leather of each shoe matches perfectly. I hate when the wrinkles on my shoes and boots doesn't match… These look like they were cut from the same exact piece of leather, which is awesome. Also, the leather is nice looking with a velvety texture. These are the nicest shoes I have ever owned. -
I am thrilled.

I am seeing Chris this weekend, they will go into production soon…..
Can't wait! They are really sharp!

I'm sure my question has been answered somewhere already, but the thread is pretty large: I'm looking to get a black JH classic made and want to use black roughtout (although olive is still a possible Option). What would make a good, heavy duty roughout leather? I was thinking of the black tie Domain - or is the Standard black the better choice?
-
I don’t know, but I suspect the difference in those two black leathers when they are roughout is small in terms of appearance. But the oil tanned is a certainly a thicker and heavier leather than the black tie.
I’m considering a roughout, short shaft Boss boot in brown and will probably go for the oil-tanned and use the $50 leather upgrade on something else.
