I love the idea of a 555 with stretch!
The other thing that I have personally always dreamed of from IH jeans that hasn’t been quite there yet is a higher rise jean that is a smidge lower in the front rise. That’s the only way I can think of that in any seated position (including riding), you can avoid plumbers crack, and not cut into the belly. For me, in a size 36 that would ideally be a BR of 16”+, but a front rise closer to 11.5. I know everyone has our vision of their ideal cut that wouldn’t necessarily fit anyone else’s body, but, that’s what I want, lol.

Looks Awesome, are the vests / jackets longer than the typical Japan ones?

Sales in Japan are slowing down and we need to find ways of keeping the workshops that make our clothing busy or else they may just decide it's all too much hassle and close down.
I might be overreacting, but this line has me concerned. Does this mean IH is/was struggling and could go under, or would this just be a change in workshops if it came down to it?
Sorry for any overreaction, or speculation. I haven’t been keeping up for a long time.

^ I won’t speak for Giles here but my understanding is that the international operation is experiencing growth still, but that the workwear/quality garment industry in Japan in general is slowing down a lot and that obviously affects IH. This new venture is part of an effort to fill that gap.

When we were in Japan a month or so back. Haraki, Paula and I agreed that we would split responsibility for USA.
IHJP will run Ignition (with minimal involvement from IHUK)
IHUK will run the IHUSA online operationToday I initiated the creation of Iron Heart America LLC which will be based in Cheyenne Wyoming (first question from @Madame Buttonfly was "is the fishing good there per chance")
I have also registered www.ironheartamerica.com
Once the LLC is created, we will open a bank account and credit card processing facilities in USA.
Then we will create a US centric version of the website which will look and feel essentially the same as the current site (users will be able to flip between the sites if they want - the header on each webpage will have something along the lines of "which country are you buying from). The important thing here is that US customers will have their credit card transaction dealt with by a US based credit card processor. That may sound like a small step for mankind but it's a giant leap for Iron Heart….

Nice!
But seriously…why Cheyenne, Wyoming? I think Phoenix, Arizona would have been the much better option....cause uhhh, the fishing here is great...lot's of lakes and stuff.... cacti too.

We have no customers in Wyoming, so no need to set up sales tax stuff. Plus Wyoming is super business friendly (and personally I think it looks cool as shit…..

I can drive to Cheyenne in a couple hours. That's cool!
Apparently "Yeezy" is locating a store there as well.
Great fly fishing not far from there.
