There's no Such Thing as a Stupid Question

fabric weights - how does this work? For example, my IHSH-201 (6oz) feels more like my IHSH-21 (10 oz) weightwise than my IHSH-133 (6oz) …
-
Weight per square yard of loomstate fabric….
if so, why is the 201 much heavier than the 133? -not complaining, just interested
-
Is it, or does it just feel it?
fair point - feels noticeably thicker/heavier - both great shirts anyway!
-
I think it's also easy to be fooled as the layman only has the garment in his or her hand or body, not the square yard of cloth on a scale. So a 10oz chambray, which as you say is thin and tightly woven, will feel lighter than a 10oz denim that is coarser and thicker.

ah, ok, I understand now - many thanks both

It's weird how an item can play tricks on you. I have two pairs of jeans that are the same size and the same weight denim, different manufacturers. I was absolutely positive one pair was much heavier than the other, until I weighed them. Exactly the same weight, down to the tenth of a pound.

Me too, but I can’t roll up iron heart sleeves. My forearms are too big. I stretch the shirt out too
Much. But I’m a fan of the look -
Kinda lol. Not bragging just facts.

Will the new slimmer hemmed whipcord pants be made in the same olive as the original or the new lighter shade like the new N-1s?
And are they coming before the A/W run?Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
