Nice! Any translation on this?
-
Not from me
But these were the questions:
Interview :
- year/date of birth
- place of birth
- place of now living
- job title
- short biography
- How you started to work Iron Heart?
- What was the rigger to get into the jeans making
- What part of denim fascinates you most?
- Do you think there is any similarities between jeans and motorcycle?
And these my answers:
- September 1957
- Birmingham, UK
- Gosport, UK
- Managing Director, Iron Heart International
- I received my Bachelors degree from The London School of Economics, almost immediately, I started working in Information Technology. Most of my career has been spent in International roles, running business, in Europe, USA, The Former Soviet Bloc and Australasia
- In 2005, I discovered Japanese denim and realised that it was not properly represented outside of Japan. I approached Shinichi Haraki, The President of Iron Heart, and asked if I could look after Iron Heart interests outside of Japan. Haraki san agreed that we should meet and discuss. We got along well together and me and my company, Iron Heart International have been looking after Iron Heart business outside of Japan since then.
- I have always loved denim, buying my first pair of Shrink To Fit Levis 501 at the age of 14. I have worn denim, work and western wear all my life. Working with Haraki san is a dream come true.
8 ) I love the fact that as denim ages it, it becomes part of you and tells a story about you as an individual. Denim does this like no other fabric. I also love the fact that jeans are a very democratic article of clothing, worn all over the world by rich and poor. - Yes, I do. Jeans tell a story about you, so to does a motorcycle, either by what you ride or how you have customised it to suit you as an individual
