Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
Also, I've had an idea for a leather piece bobbling around in my head forever. Bought my first pair of Iron Hearts from Giles in 2008 and ever since then I've had this idea.
So, many of us carry keys on a caribiner or a key hook or something, right? The keys jangle around and are noisy. Lame. Someone should make a simple cone shaped piece of leather that attaches to a keyring and wraps around keys and keeps them from rattling around. It can be secured by a snap so that it's easy to unsnap and access your keys. It shouldn't be big and look like a damn ice cream cone around your keys…just enough to add pressure, squeezing the keys together just enough so they don't jangle around. Maybe just a 1.5"x3" strip of leather cut so that it forms a cone when snapped together.
At the risk of killing my own idea: Right now, I actually put one of my wife's rubber hair bands around the back end of my keys so they don't rattle around. Not elegant, but effective and unobtrusive.

Hah, yeah, that solves the same problem. I guess I was thinking of a different form factor/shape.

Not sure that would encompass my jailer's keychain, but the problem that you've identified is why I pocket my keys.
These days I try not to take keys with me at all, and if I'm driving, just take the car key if possible.]([https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=7932/URL]

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not sure that would encompass my jailer's keychain, but the problem that you've identified is why I pocket my keys.

These days I try not to take keys with me at all, and if I'm driving, just take the car key if possible.)

That would be the 73. It’s a great shirt.

That 55 you got off of xtcclassic put you on all of our hit-lists.
I should have asked a lot more for that shirt. I had no idea how much of a grail item that was (although if I would have thought about it for two seconds I might have guessed). When I posted that, it brought back memories of being on the beach and spilling my french fries on the sand.

Can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this idea before so here goes:
12oz aspero cotton scarf
the pattern could be anything, or even leftovers from a UHF run.

I was thinking some 21/23 oz UHR double knee overalls with these buttons and this patch would be pretty amazing.
-
Tonal stitching and I would be all over those.

The nylon PrimaLoft shacket inspired the notion of UUHF: A UHF lined with quilted PrimaLoft. Could be horse-blanket lined for vintage appeal.
While I sense that it's unlikely that the IHSH-87 fabric will be re-run, folks talking about CPO-ing that made me think that could be a winning choice for this.

That sounds like it might be very expensive.

I'd drop a grand on that if it was what I was talking about….
