The Iron Heart Forum Triangle of Terror Type III Trucker Tour 2018 - Updates thread

Literally NOTHING to report today, the jacket rested here…..
Whilst I stared at this for ten hours, breaking occasionally to drink coffee, smoke my e-cig and shout at people.
-
Wow, that does suck. Even my crap employer provides full size monitors.
-
I have to be “mobile” around the company is their cheap ass excuse
-
Can we rename this thread “Adventures in dog walking” ?
I promise these are better things ahead today and this weekend, but for now…...
Today’s fit…..
Tour Jacket
IH Hoodie
IH x Pronto
Jordan 1 Lance Mountains (more about these in the Nike thread soon) -
Great picture of Tommy BTW.
-
That’s a few years old now, these days he’s almost a teenager so he’s to cool for school photo’s
-
So today’s task took me to the wonderful city of Nottingham. It was only a flying visit to pick up a new winter coat for the boy so i’m hoping to have a more in depth look at Nottingham for you in the next few weeks, but for now…..
We “enjoyed” some local transport to get us the 14 mile ride into the city.
Tour jacket was on deck…
As we got into the city it looks like it will be embracing Halloween this year. When I was a kid Halloween was never a huge thing in the UK like is in the states, but as years go by it seems we get closer to “going the full Yank” in this regard.
The old city hall is a pretty impressive building.
For today’s culinary treat we dropped into Five Guys, great burgers for the “amazing” price of £24 for two burgers, one fries and a single soft drink. Although, this is the only place we can get Cherry/ Vanilla Dr Pepper which does make it almost worth it.
-
This is what happens when you get a stroppy 12 year old to take your fit pic….
Another view of the city hall, and the setting up of Nottingham Scare Fest….
As we were looking for a coat for the boy I got dragged into Lacoste and took advantage of their mirror to try my own hand at a fit pic. Tommy’s was probably better in all fairness.
Finally from today’s trip, this is Victoria crossing, Nottingham’s answer to Piccadilly Circus, Times Square and Shibuya crossing.

Hey, we work with what we have
-
I dunno mate, that main shopping street can get a bit hairy with all the mobility scooters and old people dragging shopping trolleys with reckless abandon.
-
It’s raining, which has pretty much killed plans for any good outings today.
Plus Pam claims that the car is “making a funny noise”, so she doesn’t want to take it far until we can book it in at the garage. So today i’ll go through my lazy Saturday routine with you later, but for now I got a package this morning….
Expanding on my love of Jordan 1’s these are the Jordan Shadows, an original 1985 colour release, which was re-released earlier this year in a pretty decent quality leather.
Nike take a lot of shit about their quality, but the Jordan retro’s over the last couple of years have been (mostly) very good. I got these for a steal as they are reselling for about £180 to £250 depending on the size, these were £60 so I had to pick them up to coordinate with my Grey/ black hombre flannel.
-
Retro Chav if you please
-
Next on my lazy Saturday list is this…....
The perfect laying down position is correlation to the viewing angle of the TV, in order to watch the Saturday afternoon football, and to make football even more awesome I like to have a little bet or two on a few games. Nothing to drastic, I just put £10 a week in bets on a Saturday, these are a couple of today’s selections…
-
Normally on a Saturday i’d be spending a fair portion of the day shouting at these muppets, but as it’s half term we don’t have another game until November 10th, which I’ll cover in a future post.
I genuinely enjoy coaching, but it’s far more time consuming than I ever imagined and you spend have your time as a surrogate parent or councillor to a bunch of over emotional teenage bell ends.

Thanks Gav. This is great man. You even shared your gambling issue with us all 5 pounds of it.
I still can’t get over 30 USD for 2 burgers a fry and drinks. Although that costs about 22 bucks here at 5 guys -
Bets were a bust, cashed out one for my money back.
