Thanks for posting the measurements & helping me out @AdamC !
@RoxRocks86 it struck me that the limits your climate puts on what you can wear and the way you rock the IH tees might make this the perfect bit of kit for you. Also wabash tux for the win
Thanks for the nudge. Totally hoping the xs in black works out. We shall see . IH vest would be sweet as a sleeveless option or combo with other tops…oh the possibilities!!!! Glad these are extant!
@neph93 is right, this one would be great on you! @RoxRocks86!
I concur! Really hoping the measurements work out irl.

No problem @RoxRocks86, looking forward to seeing how the vest works out!!

Seriously considering buying one of these. I've got a wedding to go to and like the idea of this with chinos and a chambray (no…not at all influenced by @UnTucked !…much). This is not usually my style but I think I'm sold. @neph93 the vest guru…xl or xxl? I'm always between XL and xxl in IH measurements for shirts and jackets and usually have to size up. I'm thinking xl in this though unless shrinkage is to be considered, I'm thinking that careful (rather than 90c washes) is the way to go?
Scrap that...probably xxl or even xxxl on current listed measurements!

@Stuart.T If you’re thinking XXL or XXXL because of chest measurements compared to the shirts you have then stop right there.
The vests have bigger armholes so the P2P is taken at a point lower down where your body is slimmer. I’m XL in most shirts and use L in the work vests over a tee, henley or thin shirt.
If you’re XXL in most shirts and assuming you’ll be wearing this over a dress shirt at the wedding then I’d go with XL for a fitted look.
Shrinkage is minimal if you wash carefully (30-40C). Hot washes render them immediately less dressy (but much more beautiful).

@neph93 thanks mate, the ptp advice is invaluable. I'd never where this over a UHF etc, that's the job of my type III vest. Chambray would the thickest. I'd also give it a couple of 30c washes to give a bit of character and wear with khaki chinos (Stevenson overalls…sorry IH but the hem are just too big in my waist size :()
XL it is...watch this space!

Looking forward to seeing how it goes. You could consider the 21oz versions too (IHV-30’s). Picked up a black one at FnC and they are sweet.
@neph93 21oz would be a bit too heavy for the August weather when the wedding is being held. My wife is not a fan of waist coats/vests so I've got some convincing to do…her and the fact that my in-laws are the epitome of Essex. Style is looking like an X-factor hopeful if you are under 30 or an investment banker/olli Murs if you are over 30. I fit neither

@den1mhead what is the polka dot shirt worn with the vest? Looks fantastic!
