Everything about these is insanely thick.

Man I just can’t see these things ever being that comfortable. I know you love stuff like this but to me just seems like a expensive trophy…

No you wouldn’t. That would be like a denim snuff movie.
-
I don’t think I could do it to myself. Unless I sized up a couple of times to allow for some movement.
Imagine them getting wet and muddy. They would weigh you down!!
Fair play to you filthy I hope you can get some decent wear on them and give us a decent review.
I am genuinely interested in hearing how/if they become comfortable. Also if something like this can actually become a pair of jeans that is in someone’s rotation or are they just gimmick, that is to be worn sparingly.

I agree. It would really suck to work in these in any kind of heat or wet environment.
There’s a guy on IG who has put some serious wear on a pair. Just tagged you in one of his posts…
His handle is @wizardof32oz if anyone else is interested in seeing a regularly worn pair

Wizard of 32 said he sized up on his pair this time.
Also, just about everything NF does is a gimmick. These jeans are definitely a gimmick.
Edit: also it seems I didn't get any shrinkage at all despite soaking in hot water for 5 hours. I will probably soak the while pair again before I go to wear them.

Twin wore a pair of these, if I’m not mistaken.

Yes @sabergirl I have a pair of the 32oz N&F jeans.

@Crit_Obs hey SoSo has even heavier denim they are making into jeans… hopefully the quality is better than so-so. But they are custom so you can get any size or measurements you want and they are $200 cheaper than NF 32 oz...

Hey man @Filthy thanks for the heads up, gonna inspect this carefully.

It’s been about 5 or 6 years since I started hearing about selvedge denim and bought my first pairs. As I bounced around getting an initial understanding about them, this pair of N&F Elephant 5 Weird Guy fit in 22 oz was one of my early ones, along with an IH 634 14 oz.
The N&F has proven to be one of my ‘faster’ faders (I’m clearly a very slow fader overall) The Weird Guy cut is also super comfortable on me. -
Forgive me IH, for i have sinned. I have committed adultery by buying my first Non-IH selvedge denim, N&F Streetfighter II’s.
-
I actually have thought about giving N and F a shot as some of their 'not so gimmicky' denims look good to me and the weird guy fit seems to be a decent one.
Any input regarding the weird guy fit or their more basic denim fabrics would be appreciated.

N&F Streetfighter II’s
That patch design is nice, though! Looks like a solid pair overall.

I like the weird guy fit. They definitely use vanity sizing so there’s that to consider. I typically wear a size 33 in the WG fit. The MIJ series look great but I have yet to try them. I keep looking at the new kakishibu ones on BOW’s website.
I’ll also say this, I have never paid full price for their denim, mainly because they’re abundant and can be found everywhere and on sale. I’m not a fan of the gimmicky stuff but they do come out with interesting ideas on occasion. They have a Left Hand Twill Midnight Edition coming out for their new FW drops that I’m curious about. If you can get a pair on sale they’re worth a punt. Their shirting looks awful though [emoji23]

I also forgot to mention that I wear a 33 in the WG fit for their LHT denim and their Indigo denim which is their basic 13oz core denim. The LHT is nice but mine are retired until I get them repaired. They didn’t shrink much in the wash, if at all, but my indigo ones did. For reference, I’m a size 34 in 3sixteen’s ST and SL cut and a 34 in IH’s Pronto denim

I'm with you on their shirts.

Couple of notes based on a couple of days wear of the Streetfighter II E Honda:
Love the denim. Already softened after 3 days wear
Love the leather patches
Fit is goodConstruction not on par with IH for which i’ve become accustomed.
-belt loops not sewn into waist band
-rear pockets unlined
-no fly selvedge
-1 thread color (brown)Feels weird NOT wearing IH.
Keeping them but already looking for my next IH pr Since i can wear denim at all work locations now. As long as they’re not torn frayed overly faded.
