Here’s a wild idea, how about a Cordura modified type III? Not sure how this would look or what colors are available but it could fit with the IH aesthetic

Check out the IHV-24, a cordura type III vest. It will give you a great idea of how a jacket would look. It is also a crazy nice, super useful thing, that totally fits the IH aesthetic. It also sold like a pile of poop [emoji849]

I sometimes forget that all I have to do is go and look through IH’s back catalogue to see if something has been done [emoji848]

How about a Wrangler 24MJZ-style jacket like Brad Pitt's got in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood?
Great idea. I've asked Haraki. He's "thinking about it", which sometimes means "I hope Giles forgets about this"….

I'd like to see a return of the 37, or a crazy check UHF with a similar colorway. I'm guessing the 37 probably didn't sell very well, but it doesn't hurt to bring it up

Seasonal crazy UHFs are a must given their success, esp. this year's beautiful 237/238 pattern.
I agree, although they’re not always successful. I think only a handful of stockists had the 207 almost crazy check last year, compared to the 237 where there were tons of stockists. I absolutely think IH should have a yearly crazy check uhf but I’m sure there are logistical challenges that come into play for IH.

If you look at the ebb and flow of these things, they get changed up regularly. For a few years buffalo check was almost the only UHf pattern IH did. Now they are few and far between. The crazy check may be around a year or two more but it wouldn’t surprise me if something else showed up soon and took the limelight.

. Like a Cream/Purple Buffalo check.

If there's a move towards less creative or original patterns than crazy checks (this is not intended as an insult), I'd vote for houndstooth.

Call me crazy but I coulda swore IH did a houndstooth recently

Not that I recall. I only recall a couple of lighter Triple Works shirts in the past, certainly can't recall a UHF.

Being from Alabama, I can tell you that if you did a houndstooth, Alabama fans would buy them by the 100s [emoji1787].

I’m going to toss out an idea that is a little “outside the box”, but still sort of in the “Vintage Workwear” realm. We all love the UHF material. An UHF Union Suit complete with a butt flap would be insane whether you’re at home “watching Netflix and chilling”, working outside in sub zero temps, or riding on cold days.

Not a day does by where I don't dream of Double Indigo XHS 555s. PIH5DCTs are my biggest denim grail, and I'm afraid that's basically an impossibility!

Not as outside the box as you might think… it gets a mention on this thread about three times a year.

If there's ever a surplus of UHF fabric, particularly a buff check, wouldn't it be sweet as a liner for a jacket?

There’s the beginnings of an IH/Simmons Bilt collab somewhere in that sentence…
