Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
They just do not sell that tee in Japan for some reason
I see. The weight maybe. It’s basically a short sleeve sweat shirt…

@gaseousclay @mclaincausey I know you're writing of flannels but - there's a beautiful houndstooth in Extinct. I've slavered over it more than once. TWSH-11-indigo dyed houndstooth chambray-mmm.
know it's been answered but :PI can't find-kersey work shirt any where in the works? -
Rerunning the red chambray western's been mentioned a few times. Are we any closer to that happening?

@cj:
Been thinking about how I'd like to see the IHSW-10 in green à la this: https://www.ironheart.co.uk/extinct/ihsw-10.html?search_query=Sweat&results=33
Definitely. Since mine got lost in the mail I Keep looking for one.

I know they went on sale, but that's because people didn't know what they were missing. I would like the IHj-60 in another 21oz(+) fabric, maybe overdyed 21oz? It is the quintessential denim jacket imo, perfectly executed construction, over-engineered everything (double zipper, heavy duty cuffs, selvedge accents) and dripping with understated quality. No frills, just selvedge.

I had that one; it was a really nice shirt. Unfortunately, I bought it too big and had to sell it, but a great shirt, nonetheless. Also unfortunately, houndstooth doesn’t seem to sell well. I think it’s been done a couple of times and ended up in the clearance section each time.

I think that it may have been too tight a pattern, which can look too smart for the IH aesthetic (which is probably why the above was Triple Works). Consider how a typical glen plaid looks, and then consider how an IH UHF glen plaid looks. I am not sure that the same conversion from a traditional to an Iron Heart houndstooth (bigger yarns, bigger pattern) has been attempted.
And it need not be limited to two tones–the houndstooth pattern could include various colors and horizontal and/or vertical stripes to make a completely different pattern--even a "crazy check." Picturing it as a pattern on which to build other patterns, a la the herringbone flannels from a few seasons ago.
Ignore the colors, but for a concept check this out:
Just spitballin'

I imagine this one's been done to death but can't be bothered to check:
IHT-1600 in any of these would be great:
-
Heather gray
-
Olive drab
-
Coyote brown
-
Navy blue
-
Rope-dyed indigo, or just dunk a white one
Agreed
We keep trying, and will keep on keeping on until we convince the Japanese!
Add in a vote from me, though tbh, I'd be just as excited for some more colors in the IHT-3000!

I love houndstooth, always have. A fekk off, big IH version would be the mutts nuts. The fact that it would need to be designed from the weave up would make it so.
I agree with every part of this statement.

Houndstooth is my favorite pattern. If Flathead shirts fit me, I would have bought all the color combinations they were making 10 years ago.

I know I've said it before but I'd love to see more colors in the thermal henleys (IHSH-1213). Olive, indigo (restock), light brown (kinda like the brown IHSH-106) would all be lovely.
Totally agree… and for some reason I'd buy a fire engine red one too

Agreed. Their houndstooth patterns look awesome, but the fits of the long sleeves are incredibly bad for me.

Big bold Madras Hound's tooth FTW.
Won't be for everyone mind…...
