Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
Yes… I have both of them.
Two completely different cuts.
777 have much more room on the thighs and more tapper knee down
555 slimmer on the thighs and practically straight knee downCheck the cut comparison on the Our Cuts page
777 are a perfect fit for my body type and with a higher rise would fit like a glove.

Not sure they are completely different. They are both slim tapered cuts after all. Apart from the rise, major difference between the two is in the knee, it is consistently wider on the 777. This is because the thigh of the 777 tapers much more gently than the 555, while the leg to hem, more aggressively.
@alexdefaro try the PIH10ANT. It is pretty much exactly what you are looking for. Alternatively, if you size down one or two waist sizes on the 888 you’ll get close to 777 silhouette with a high rise.

I'd like to see an IH version of the above hook front deck jacket. I suppose I could buy the Buzz Rickson version at some point but i'm interested to see what Haraki-san could do to make this even cooler

Haven't been on the forum much lately so apologies in advance if this has already been discussed but a modified type III in the new 14oz black/black denim would be nice.

SE will get it in a month or so, then general distribution will be 3 months later…
Thanks Giles.

Corduroy 777's, brown and khaki.

I mentioned this in the storm rider thread but figured it’s worth mentioning here as well, I think a storm rider made of black denim would be really cool. Not sure about black vs a contrast collar, I lean a bit more towards black, but either way I think that would be interesting and probably not done much in comparison to black type IIIs

That's an awesome idea! Black storm rider with a black collar would look super sleek IMO
Thanks! The 101J-BLK looks awesome, so I was imagining that with the lining, hand warmer pockets and corduroy collar, and I realized I’ve never seen that iteration anywhere

Just got a Carhartt J140 "Active Jacket" for work. Surprisingly very well put together (in the USA no less) for $100. I especially like the big brass zipper. Their 12oz "firm duck" as they call it is actually quite nice, super crisp and I'm sure it will age well. Not nearly as supple as the 17oz IH duck though which got me to thinking how epic it would be for IH to do their take on a coat of this style. Basically an over-engineered quilt-lined tanker/hoodie hybrid. Would be especially epic in the double duck if it ever happens to see a revival. The fit on the Carhartt is definitely "roomy" as these are indeed designed with maximum mobility in mind, but it would be nice to get something a bit more fitted - something IH is so good at doing with classic workwear styles.

A duck hoody. Seconded!

I would buy that for sure.
