Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
@neph93 If Wikileaks made awesome, high-end western shirts, I'd consider it.
-
@gaseousclay I agree but I assume @neph93 is correct about them not selling well. @Giles' kanreki shirt is one of my all-time favs, but I don't know if they'd make one like it again.
-
So, hire Roger then, @Giles?
-
I'll take that as a maybe then.
All joking aside, and not to get too political here, but it is deeply troubling that our president has the power to release (well, technically, he wasn't in prison yet) someone from jail that he has a clear conflict of interest with. Stone didn't contact them without Trump's knowledge I assume.

Even when we have made lightweight Iron Heart flannels in the past, they have sold poorly. That does not mean we will not stick our toes into the water again at some point…....
Fair enough. I can understand if it doesn’t make sense to go lightweight when UHF’s are your bread and butter. I will continue to buy UHF’s regardless. IH’s global reach is far greater than it was 5-10 yrs ago so I figured lightweight could be an option. I’ll keep my fingers crossed [emoji1696]

Ive been looking at the IHSH-35 Herringbone Work Shirt a lot & would really like to see it make a return.
The classic Herringbone would round out my Hickory & Wabash shirts perfectly and the Olive Herringbone from the IHSH-154 would also be a welcome addition.
Would anyone else like to add one these beauties to their IH collection?
-
Yes and yes. My grey 154 was sunbleached in a very uneven way. Amazing fabric. Never been lucky enough to see a 35 in the flesh, but that herringbone with those bartacks is a glorious thing.

I only have the double indigo herringbone on the IHSH-165, and on an a sample workvest that never got released. Amazing stuff. It is a great fabric and whenever Haraki-san uses it the results are beautiful, however it doesn’t always capture the imagination of the public at large. For some reason it rarely sells well. Personally I’d love to see more examples of it.

Never know until you ask –-- what about a Type 3 UHF?

It was worth a shot
