Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

General design question. Have you ever thought about making the placket on your shirts slightly longer? (As much as I love IH westerns I find, particularly for the warmer weather shirts, the placket is not quite long enough for me to roll the sleeves up which I typically do in warm weather.)

I’ve just read the Shinayaka thread and I’m now wondering if there has ever been a conversation regarding Kevlar jeans, specifically for riding bikes.
Ignition Works maybe?

This is a thought I've had recently: Could IH make a duck/denim hybrid fabric that uses the same dye/yarns as the classic 17oz brown duck, but twill weave it into a denim? I understand that duck is necessarily a plain weave, but would it be a worthwhile experiment to make into a twill/denim weave with the same yarn? Or an even heavier weight one, such as a 21oz "duck brown" denim? On a related note, any thoughts of making a heavier weight (21+oz) standard duck canvas?

@Costch I like the idea of brown denim and it has been aired here before. As for heavyweight duck it was done about seven years ago in a parafin-coated 22oz. I was not around then but would have loved a pair.

Those are epic! Definitely wouldn't mind a pair myself, had no idea they existed but I'm not surprised. Would a reissue be out of the question? Or a new issue of something similar?
Great ideas. We have so much new denim being worked on at the moment, I don't think that we have the bandwidth to put something else into the mix…But, we won't forget...
H has definitely been killing it with the new denims lately, I'm sure he has no shortage of ideas to work with.

I think it was a few years ago @Cutlasshound and I brought up the idea about a camera bag… how about a colab with an established camera bag maker? Perhaps Billingham from England, making the outer shell out of denim or duck? Could be one of their popular Hadley series:
https://billingham.co.uk/collections/camera-bags/products/hadley-small-pro
https://billingham.co.uk/collections/camera-bags/products/hadley-pro-2020-camera-bag
Or just make the shell of the bag to Iron Heart's own design, but keeping the interior dimensions similar to Billingham's so you can put in their insert yourself? It fastens with just a snap (literally).

And for a summer shirt, how about a color reversal of the IHSH-112 indigo paisley? White 5oz chambray with blue print.

I think this is a great idea. Perhaps the more rain resistant fabrics, like whipcord in the N1 jackets, would be better suited for this use.

I do love a good bag!!!!!!!
A hunter/fishermans style bag with the option of a few inserts would be killer imo…..
Always regret not picking up some of the early IH bags.
