Music has always been an incredibly big/important part of my life. Feel fortunate to have grown up,during the musical eras, that I did.

@Jett129 I bet you could write a book about the venues that you have played and the bands that you have seen. Any chance you can share a story about a memorable meeting/performance.
I love this kind of stuff.
. The most memorable meeting was when I got to be backstage for a performance by Ginger Bakers Airforce,during which he took one of the most outrageous drum solos I had ever seen,so intense that his shirt ripped in the back. Afterwards I saw him walking around,got hold of a pen and a piece of paper and summoned up the courage to go up to him and say That was the most amazing feat of drumming I had ever seen,could I possibly have your autograph?…To which he replied “Fuck off man,it’s not cool” and turned his back and walked away from me. I was crushed,and for years whenever he would come up in conversation I would say “If he was on fire,I wouldn’t piss to put him out”.

@Jett129 Thank you for sharing.
I went digging this weekend and watched some of his work. Very talented and intensely focused while playing.
It is fun knowing a backstory about a performer because they now have another dimension to them when listening to their performances.

I was watching this video and Bayliss is wearing an IHSH-13. It has to be, western, snaps, pocket flaps, perfect length, etc. It looks a bit light, but it’s got to be a 13. And this is from ‘14, so that means Umphrey’s has been in the game for years…

I challenge you not to enjoy this

Such a devastating loss. This year just won’t let up.
