Did you get a custom fitting from wesco or buy off the rack?

@superheavymilk I have either a standard 10.5D or 10.5E in all my Wesco's. I now know that I should do 10.5D in boots with a lighter leather and 10.5E in the oil tanned leathers, but as mentioned, I'm not that fussy.

I’ve been wearing all types of engineer boots,including Wescos,over the last 25 years,and have never used the strap on any of them,but I,totally,like the way it looks.

However, if I remember correctly, @Appfaff unbuckles his and straps them up every time he puts them on. You can certainly tighten the fit of the boot with them, if you need to.

100% Neph - I undo the calf and Instep straps everytime I take the boots off.

Having the burlap engineers (MP last) and having had the Morrison’s, also in burlap in the exact same size - I can say the fit on the Boss can be more trailered to your preferred fit. I like that I can cinch the top of the boot down to wear under more sleek pants if needed.

Also, I exclusively wore the thick IH boot
Socks when breaking them in, which means if I wear a more summer appropriate sock, I just click the instep strap an extra notch and achieve a similar fit to my
Winter socks.

My vote is Boss - but I am also a sucker for Morrison’s - especially shorties.

My Wesco Romeos “Anti Roller Mag” came in today!

Exact same copy of the Roller Magazine collaboration except without the Roller Mag stamp on the insole.  Navy Insole too. Burgundy leather.
