They look great–-the one inch shrinkage didn't affect the look.
And cool to see that Sawtooth---dont see that one very often. -
Thank you all for the kind words! I highly recommend these jeans to anyone who has thought about picking up a pair.
@dinobarnesberlin The 176 is one of my favorite shirts. The lighter weight denim makes it more versatile in my climate and the snaps are killer!

Its an eye catcher for sure. I just ordered the IHSH-33-ind yesterday, not as flashy as the 176 but should be ok for my weather here in Berlin.
Keep rocking it @Palmer -
About to pull the trigger on a new pair - debating between the 16oz Nihon Menpu or the new hemp/cotton blend. Anyone here have either of those?
The Nihon Menpu is amazing!

That's insane - your GPWW pants should be in a museum haha.. what do you do to get them so beat up? I can't be the only one wanting to know!
Also, that post makes me almost certain I want the 16oz now. I still want to know more about the hemp selection but those just look too good!

Received my Black/Gray work jeans and I’m in love. These are gonna be my studio pants so they’ll get filthy. They had a strong sulfur smell so I soaked them and they shrank about in inch in length. A little more than I expected but I think it’s fine.
How are these black/grey jeans breaking in? Still can't decide which denim to pick for my order for some reason.

DCWS2020 turns out I lied about the fabric… they’re actually 16oz kurabo slub.
And I just work in them man.. I find that working your denim hard and not giving a shit does wonders for good fades...Also, scroll back a ways and you’ll see some of my broken in black/grey work pants.. I think it’s post #58

Oh nice I saw that post… for some reason I’m hung up on which denim to choose. This thread here is helping narrow it down though.

Been breaking in these awesome hemp blend work jeans for a few days. The feel is different from 100% cotton for sure. They are crisp feeling, and are creasing great… yet are soft and have a more “fluid” like drape if that makes sense. Anyway - super cool fabric, great fit. 10/10 highly recommended!
Also the shirt pictured is an iron heart black 13oz military serge. Favorite shirt I own.
Cheers!

In the 70's I rock climbed.
When I realized that the only thing that was making me any "good" was my height, and thus my reach, and the fact, I was shit-scared most of the time, I stopped….
But I wore something like these when I did climb....

I just bought a pair, nostalgia overload....And they'll be fecking great for fishing in the tropics if I'm ever lucky enough to get out there again

The piqué pants are rad af from what I've seen. How're you liking the fit/material, @Giles? V into snagging the shorts version for summer/fall.
-
The fabric is superb. They're sort of ant-fit, which is what you want from climbing pants….
Glad to hear that – I want superior range of motion over a tailored/fitted look. I'll leave that to my IH gear
You get 'em for hiking/activity/studio photo shoots?
