@Palmer I will check them out. I haven't heard of them. I won't be able to listen to this until a little later. Thanks.

I take it nobody was into the Floor album I posted… but I love that so much. It has probably the heaviest 'song' I ever heard. I could listen to that album on repeat. It's a great alternative to OM and the Melvins when I grow tired of listening to that all the time.
Last song on the record is the heaviest:
Probably my favorite song on the album:
And their reunion album is really good too, and the vocals are not as in your face;

@Filthy I have owned and loved that album for many years. Used to blow my mind that Floor and Hot Water Music shared a label (No Idea, out of Florida).
@Palmer I've got Gatecreeper's first 2 albums on cd. Thanks for the heads up, I'll pick this up. Are some of these dudes in Mammoth Grinder too? Can't remember.

Steve Brooks
singer and one guitar playeris also in a similar band called Torche if you haven't heard them. But I am sure you have. Floor had a bunch of eps from the 90s I don't care for as much. They were more of a powerviolence band.https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lwAmsMfMMSQ1qmlpaucN1aP_8s768i1Aw

Two long form pieces I like returning to:
Ragnar Kjartansson's 'A Whole lot of Sorrow' was an art piece where he had the Brooklyn band The National play their classic tune 'Sorrow' over and over for 6 hours. No video as such to be accessed online (thankfully?) so in lieu of that:

@Filthy Both good albums but If I had to choose one i would go with variations. Idk why I have never heard of either band.

“A good one for Friday after work …”
Heard this LP tonight, covered under the most two carried bags of this week.
Outstanding tonight ?!….
Ended up here...
My long time music companion: Steven Wilson-2021....
... and Soen. They are progressive and a lot of Tool .... only some bass is missing!
