This popped up in my YouTube suggestions and I think it is fantastic. I haven't heard something this uplifting since Baroness' Yellow/Green albums. The band reminds me a lot of 311.

I just started to relisten to Baroness recently after my s.o. taking interest after hearing it. Yellow/Green is
a great release, I dig the Blue Album the most and the Red Album is so good too. I am giving Hum a listen now. So far I hear why you mentioned Baroness.Have you listened to Valkyrie? One of the guitarists who used to play in Baroness also plays in this band. I have seen them play live a couple times in my hometown Frederick, MD during Maryland Doom Fest.

I will certainly check that out asap @Oaktavia I only brought that up because the second record (don't remember what color) is like super uplifting. That Hum album seems uplifting and had an optimistic sound to it.

Ah, gotcha. Let me know what you think of Valkyrie when you get a chance.

My mom found a bunch of cards I had made for her when I was in high school, from 1996! Proof I am not a poser, i guess. I don't even remember making these.
The band Final Warning. The bass is heavy AF. I used to have this tshirt I wore every day that said, "stop vivisection final warning"
The singer from Final Warning ran a record distro and was also in the band Nausea. I bought the shirt from him at an Aus- Rotten show.
I'm too drunk to find the Nausea with Niel right now.

I think this is probably number 2. These guys were like rock star wannabes but I always have loved this album and I don't care what people say. It is so metal and it is amazing.

Oh the memories - I learned how to play drums with some friends as we all played total chaos and casualties songs.. luckily, it was all the same chords and drum patterns, so we would each play an instrument snd switch during the next song. It was loud, it was fun, and we were terrible haha

I was at a house party with members of the casualties in Pittsburgh before. It was the same time got the Fleas and Lice/ Bleeding Rectum split LP. There is a song on that record called "Filthy Blood Junkies" which was my username when I first joined here in 2013. It got changed to Filthy 25 oz Junkie, then to just Filthy eventually.
The house in Oakland was a famous punk house in Pittsburgh for like 30 years, where they had basement shows at every weekend. This supposedly was the same house where the picture on the back cover of the Expoited album 'War Now' was taken in the back alley.
I saw Anti-Flag play in Pittsburgh more that a few times @Appfaff it's awesome you like that kind of music!

In honor of their new album I've been spinning a lot of Viagra Boys lately. Definitely my favorite Swedish band!
