Sometime last week…i look ridiculously short in this pic and it’s bc i am. Ceiling was only 8ft. I’m 4’10”/147cm on a good day

@RoxRocks86 My mom is 4'10" and I remember growing up only having one prayer and it was something like "God, please don't let me be 4'10"!"
We went to a science center one holiday and they predicted I'd be 6 feet tall. I was ecstatic. I may have never gotten to 6 feet tall but I remind my mother everyday that I'm not 4'10"… and every time I do she punches me in the stomach because that's as high as she can reach

Haha… actually my Mum is 4’11” so small is cool in my book. Although her nickname is “The Hobbit” [emoji1]. I just reached 6’ even with a 5’8” Dad.

@neph93 this is an older home in the old downtown area. Old enough to have brick walls and gravel floors in the basement. It's a duplex and the other side can be rented out. There has been a whole lot of renovations since The Wonderful Lorie Love bought it.

Removing tiles and carpet in 21oz

We like the tiles they had covered up with other tiles (?) and will leave them for now while other work commences. Where carpet was removed there are now baseboards that are in mostly good shape so once other work has finished they’ll be sanded and oiled. With this house we just moved into it’s firstly a case of getting rid of a lot. One of the next jobs is peeling off textured wallpaper that has been painted over.

Second trip to the dump and an update on the 888’s in sunlight. Brought home the big mirror from the dump for £5.
