Alright, sweet — that’s reassuring. So much of this really has to do with me figuring out which measurements for higher rise waists work for me, haha. I’m so used to being more in the 666 zone.

@popvulture The Lot 64 cut is great. I wear mostly IH 666 but the Lot 64 is a slightly roomier and higher rise alternative. The higher back rise is preferable in my opinion. The MF size charts are pretty accurate in my experience, but if you do a cycle in the wash and dryer you'd be able to get more shrinkage.

They arrived just now — as I was kind of worrying about, I can tell the 34 is too big, and would likely continue to be even after shrinking. I'm gonna swap for a 33, should do the trick. That's an awesome henley, Theo!
And thank you @Palmer! I think the thing for me with higher waisted jeans is the sort of broadness of the top block. I'm not used to it. After trying these on just now, I ran into the same problem I've had a couple times — the crotch just gets bunchy, and I really wanna avoid that — not a great look. So, I think a 33 should be great. I don't need a drastically smaller size, just a bit would do the trick I think.

33s arrived and fit a helluva lot better. Soaking now — they’re gonna be snug once they’ve shrunk, but I’m imagining they’ll be ideal after some wears stretching em back out. Stoked.

Cool ! Yeah they will stretch mine were tight to the point were I wondered if I screwed up or the cut wasn’t going to work but they fit good now plus it helps keep you on track with the food booze etc lol

@theorocks haha yes, exactly the same experience. A bit of an oh shit moment when I put them on this morning, but they’re already starting to give a little.
What size did you get in that henley, by the way? I noticed the measurements on those things seems way tiny but I know they stretch a lot.

Yeah large seemed like the way to go for me, too — thanks man! The MF site suggested sizing down but that seemed ludicrous given those measurements. Franklin and Poe suggested just getting your normal size.
And re: the blue yep I suspected that one’s a bleeder

Man I really am loving these Lot 64s. It's making me wanna buy only higher rise jeans from now on…

Thanks man! It's one of the better fits I've come across for me.

As I just mentioned over in the GAH thread, I was in LA this weekend and was fortunate enough to be able to fit in some good shopping. Gotta say the highlight was by far the Mister Freedom store — holy shit it's nuts. There's so much stuff to see — it was so overwhelming that I went twice. Ended up picking up one of those indigo thermal henleys, two awesome sun-faded tees, and a pair of the Lot 64 Paniolos.
But sheesh, I have a bad enough habit just buying shit online… I'm really grateful that I don't have easy access to spots like that. Dangerous!

popvulture nice ! I’ve never been, but shit ya, would be tuff not to blow the bank roll lol

Hello all,
It has been a long time. I hope all is well. Anyway, I thought I'd post some pictures of my new "project." Worn it every day since I've gotten it. The one day I didn't wear it, I set it out to "tan." Somehow it fell down on my gravel, got wet, then developed these nasty little marks in the leather. With wear, they faded slightly to the point where you cannot notice them. The only reason I mention this is that it changed my perspective on the jacket. If I had the nasty marks in the leather, why not wear it hard? Well, now it's blue from my jeans in places, black from working on things around the house, and I think there's even some ice cream from my kids. Okay, okay. That's from me, too.
You may be wondering about the jacket itself. You might have seen me in my campus jacket. I love that jacket. It's my first choice for "date night" jackets. It is, however, a tad short; it is also a little snug when buttoned. That's more of a me issue, of course. This is jacket is also a 44 but is much roomier. The published messurements have it a 25 inches p2p, but mine is 24 right on the dot. One of the other cool aspects is the "branding." No, I don't mean the cool little flourishes that Mister Freedom does in their store or when shipping their products, I mean the actual "brand" that was on the horse. On mine, you can see an 8 and a 6. If you've even been intrigued by MF's leathers before, I'd have to say this rivals the campus, perhaps even beats it. Let me know if you'd like to see more pictures in the future. Also, I have gotten this bad boy wet when cleaning up the markings I described above, but I have not but any Pecards on it yet. Trying to wait until it really needs it.
Cheers!

Coming back strong @Wlemon ! I was not aware of this jacket but it is a great design and your sample looks awesome.

Wlemon looks smashing …. I’ve had this jacket in the basket a few times almost pulled the trigger lol … Is it me or does your original fit pic the jacket looks more relaxed ? I guess it forms to body etc.
