WESCO

@neph93 that's interesting, and good to know — I wanna kiss companies that make 12.5. Rare as hen's teeth. These were stock boots, but I like knowing that in case I ever order custom from Wesco.
But yeah I feel like I have so many things to feel fortunate for, but I will whine for a brief sec and say that having big feet is a real pain in the ass. It sucks that there's no half size between 12 and 13 usually. Also, wearing a 13 has ruled out lots of cool companies (Shoes Like Pottery, for ex) that only make up to 12. Beyond that, lots of retailers just don't order 13s. Lastly, the whole upper tier boot phenomenon of everything being one size bigger than your Brannock size means that often a 12 is just a teeeeny bit too small for me, and a 13's too big (as might be the case here).
It's really not the end of the world, though — could be way worse. Fingers crossed the 12Es end up fitting!

@popvulture @Alex_24 Check this link. The boot builder details all options available. Standard sizing lasts (including half sizes), go up to 13, but a custom fitting will let them build bigger I believe. @Alex_24 you would be better off going through IHUK than ordering direct from Wesco.

If you have big feet just do a custom build. My Wesco size is something like 14.5B but I don't even think about it now that Chris measured my feet a couple years ago. I just order what I want and never worry about using a plastic bag or showering in my boots or whatever else people do to make their stock boots fit. It's worth the wait.

Thanks @neph93!

My first pair of Wescos. The Mr. Lou in Maryam Teacore Horsebutt.
I have an extensive Viberg collection and I’m really loving these as a change of pace.

I'm more a fan of the service and chelsea boot styles, but those look super clean in black horsebutt with the natural sides. Curious on your thoughts on them after a bit of wear, especially regarding how they compare with Vibergs.

excellent @benniejackson - looks great with that denim as well. are they 777s-142?

I'm a Viberg SB and Chelsea fan as well. Once I get my bookshelves set up in my new place to display the Vibergs I'll post a collection photo in that thread. Only my 3rd full day of wearing these, but I can tell they are every bit as solid. I'll come back with some updates. Especially after some of the black wears away to show the brown underneath.

Thanks! These are 666S-16. Have been great for the TX summer once the heavier weights became too much. Was wearing some 142, but I'm really digging these and they seem to breathe a bit better.
-
Killer @benniejackson - the vintage denim really is nice and airy! Where in TX are you located?
-
@Appfaff I'm a new transplant to the Houston area.
-
Enjoy it @benniejackson - I'm from Fort Worth originally, and always look forward to my visits there. My roommate from college lives in Meridiana just outside Houston proper, so we get to swing by H-town from time to time!
-
Thanks, @Appfaff I'm on the north side in the Woodlands. If you're ever passing through on the way to Fort Worth from Meridiana let me know if you want to have a mini-IH meetup and grab a beer.

will do @benniejackson !

[emoji106][emoji106]Custom Wescos will be my next purchase [emoji776] Just saving up my pennies. Worked up a build for Custom Romeos, but decided Custom Boss Engineers are what I really want [emoji41]

The color is beautiful. What is that? Awesome build. I was playing with the boot builder today, but didn’t pull the trigger.
That is the newer edition of the brown oil tan, but rough out.
. The boots I was pretend building would’ve been the British Tan rough out. Didn’t see a brown oil tan offered.
