WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)

The first shop I went into in Gosport was the local art gallery. Richard the owner who is a bit of a local historian had bought it at auction in the West Country in 1996. He sold it to a customer in about 2001. Richard has become a good friend and was at AR with us yesterday. Paula badgered him to get the buyer to sell it to us. The guys said no, and then a few years later phoned Richard up and said, "you know what it lives under the stairs, it deserves to be in The Superintendents House, tell Paula I will sell it to her for what I paid for it"….So she bought it....

Yesterday marked what would have been 39 years of marriage between my parents. So I took my mom out for dinner in my dads favorite car.
Afterwards she sent me this text [emoji3064]

Thanks everybody! I’m sorry to keep pulling at the heart strings but I can’t really help it right now… I’m grateful for you all!

@Brock I admire that you loved your dad the way you do!!! I had that with my Father in Law and not a day goes by that I don't think about him and it's been almost 7 years since he passed.
As far as I concerned keep it up…Share, Remember, and we can all use it to remember what truly is important in life.
The connections that we have with family and friends is really the only thing that is of true value in life. Everything else is just...stuff.

Well, I made it to Tangiers, and I have to say it was one of the most pleasant & hassle-free journeys I have ever taken. There was even a taxi waiting for me at the airport that I had not organised…...
Tomorrow morning, my Polish friend who I met in Oman and lives in Paris arrives.
Then the party starts…...

Thank you for that. goosehd
