Anyone here play video games?

They're calling this the Dark Souls of Metroid games. Pretty stoked.
-
I have not had too much time to play it. But seems like the game has gotten universal acclaim.
-
Sounds great, guys. It's been a long while since I played Metroid. I'm on to Phoenix Point for now
-
Back 4 Blood has been a great game to play with friends, haven't tried it with matchmaking yet
-
I got Far Cry too for free with my reward points and it is still sitting there unopened in the mailer. Only had one day at home. But maybe soon?

I'm thrilled for the release of Dying Light 2 FINALLY happening in Feb. If you haven't played the first, it's absolutely fantastic

From the publisher and developer that brought you the slight delay of Shadow Warrior 2 comes the slight delay of Shadow Warrior 3 into 2022!

Been playing Metroid Dread all day, I'm surprised by how difficult it is. The one boss took me like 10 times to beat it. I die pretty often too. I've played every single Metroid game even the last one on DS and I didn't find them this difficult.
I tried getting in to Far Cry but it was driving me crazy all the cut scenes, forced stealth in part, and the hand holding. Not a good start for a game at all. Just STFU and let me go explore and shoot stuff.

That reminds me: have you ever heard Metroid Metal @Filthy ?
-
Kind of sounds like Rush, no I never heard that before.

I'm about 8 hours into (not counting the trial and error gameplay and deaths, the in game counter only keeps tabs on the most current progress) Metroid Dread and it's definitely the most hardcore game I've played since the 90s. I can't tell if I am having fun or not but I like it and hate it at the same time. Not feeling the one hit death of the Emmi but otherwise the game is fantastic. Probably the game of the year unless Halo is amazing.
Forza is absolutely fantastic too. Worth a try on Gamepass just to play the introduction part… You drive a Ford Bronco down the side of an erupting volcano... The graphics are the most next-gen I've seen yet. Blows away anything so far and it's not even close.
