IHSH-62-BLK - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Black
-
I never really close the neck collar, but it's a bit snug with the M. Never tried on the S. If I can, I guess I can just hot wash it with woolite to shrink it if I lose a bit of weight..
Are you wearing the same shirt in both pics? The first one looks a lot bigger. Try taking some pics straight on instead of from above and with better lighting.
You won’t get much shrink in the horizontal direction. Most shrinkage occurs in the arms and length.

Top one is medium

I think both look great in their own way, really. The M will be more versatile for layering etc..
The S however Will look sharper / more fitted.Go with whatever you feel more comfortable in,
I think either way this shirt will be a win for you (just judging by the pics…) -

The medium looks a little large. The small looks good, but a little small over the shoulders.
Best bet is probably medium then shrink. Soak thoroughly forst then wash on super hot. 90 or 95C. Air dry.

Finally added the 62 in black to my closet. Although not a new idea, I went for the copper snaps like others have with this shirt. Pleased with outcome.

Welcome to the copper snap gang @Bums_Fan

Paired with a cream 1600. My new favorite combo.

Any idea on the next restock for both the black and indigo? Giles suggested a few months ago it was likely to be Feb time?
-
This is a size small, which seems to just barely be too small. Should I swap out for a medium on the restock?
-
Well, it doesn’t look like the buttons are pulling along the placket, so it’s not showing signs of being literally too tight. That said, it looks like a pretty snug fit. I’d probably go a size up if it were me, but that’s just personal preference. Is it tight in the shoulders when you cross your arms?
-
Not necessarily. I just think it looks and feels like something that I’ve had since high school and grown out of. So yeah your inclination to size up seems right. I appreciate the input, thanks!

Good to know. Thanks all!

Black Wabash aka Slow fading f***** showing some evo
~ 100 wears, countless washes. This is my „renovate the garden house“ shirt,
so washing is a must from time to time. -
Thanks @goosehd ! This was also the IH piece that it all began with for me. Looking back, it was definitely a Good Choice.
