We know you love IH, but where do you think we can improve?

Bigger/thicker buttons on work shirt UHFs please. The current ones occasionally slip open unintentionally and they feel flimsy compared to the weight of the flannel.
+1 for thicker pocket bag material on jeans. And also just bigger/deeper pocket bags in general. My hands barely fit much less my phone.

The buttons thing is a well known issue and does need a fix.
The pocket sizing is also a returning comment from users, but that is a design choice by Haraki-san and unlikely to change. Having stuff in your pockets while riding isn’t wise or comfortable. This is also the reason why the back pockets are pushed to the side. And the reason why IH make bags [emoji38]

Something we need to fix…...Will discuss with Haraki when we see him late June...

additional belt loops
I would disagree with this just because I don't like the way it looks when jeans get too "loopy," for lack of a better word. Any time I see more than five, I'm always like "why did they do that?" What can I say — I'm a minimalist

Hook Closure on the Chino:
The actual hook only goes through the inner white fabric of the waistband, creating a stupid look pulling it to the outside when under tension.
Hidden behind the belt, it's not really noticeable, though. The rest of the Chino doesn't feel like I should have sized up.
I think it would be better if there was an additional layer of the chino cloth on the inside of the waistband through which the hook is also is attached. -
I would be cool with a few extra belt loops…seems like most of the work pants have 7 loops. I go TTS so eventually I end up with a bit of extra material that tends to sag below my belt.

Make the hems little smaller . Now days , typical hem size is no bigger than 7” or max 7.5”
777 , 555s are 8.5” or more for size 38. Obviously the entire jeans size appropriately to accommodate 8.7 or 8.8” hems. 8.8 or 9” doesn’t go well with today fashion .I think pure blue Japan sort out sizing for “slim tapered fit” beautifully.

Ok but follow the current fashion trends . Big hems aren’t in.

Tapered legs have been in for about 15 years now and I think they're getting pretty tired. I'm personally glad IH makes jeans I can fit my foot through at the bottom. The Hypebeast crowd has plenty of options out there.
Who knew this thread would contain my most opinionated takes?

PBJ what they do, we do what we do…...
We love PBJ, but they ain't us....
Nobody is comparing you with PBJ.
I have 16 pair of jeans , 8x IH and 8xPBJ.
I was only referencing the fit . That’s allYou asked us for opinion and I gave you mine

I’m not so sure about that. Looking at IG, a lot of people and retailers including SelfEdge’s show straight legs. Personally I dont think they’ll ever not be in style. Just my opinion for what it’s worth.

I was talking to friend recently about this very topic, and my feeling is that due to the internet and trends being smaller but more numerous, you see things hang around a lot longer than they did in the past. I'd say previously a pervasive style might last 5 years or a little more, then it'd be on to something new. I feel like now, the transitions between shifts are much more blurred, and trends live a lot more concurrently.
Anyhoo, I'm rambling. I think it's an interesting topic, though.
