Great, so glad it did not go immediately into the recycling bin. And sorry if it messes with your weight-loss regime…..
Shouldn't do. I've been doing the intermittent-fasting thing where you have a 4-hour window each day in which to eat, but basically maintain the same diet. Calorie restriction comes from not being physically able to stuff as much food in there in the limited time available!
I kicked things off with a 120-hour fast over the summer too, which lost me the first 3kgs. After that turned out to be surprisingly easy to do, I switched to this more sustainable, less-anti-social eating pattern.

Been a while since I've posted. Big changes. Divorce underway after 10 yrs of very happy marriage, but now incredibly happy to be in a nurturing relationship with the woman I fell head over heels for 14 years ago. Life throws us some strange curve balls.

Congrats, I think
Thanks @Giles I am very lucky. Everything with my soon to be ex is incredibly amicable. She knows about my new partner, she is happy for me. We just grew in different directions. Lots of challenges lay ahead.
My girlfriend lives on a narrow boat, and we've been doing work on it. IH has very much come into its own during this recent cold snap!

Jeez, I was only saying to @Madame Buttonfly yesterday as we passed a boat in the marina that we know is lived on all year around. "Christ, that must be grim at the moment"….

It's pros and cons, and the pros outweigh the cons. It's moored on a beautiful river with only a few other boats for miles around. It has diesel powered central heating, log burner, full sized kitchen and bathroom with power shower, washing machine etc. It was a real eye-opener to me. It's like a small apartment.

@Stuart.T - sounds lovely (and very different to the sailing boat we were looking at, which is tiny but probably not very cosy in this weather).
Great to hear about the happy changes in your life, stay warm and well!

@Madame Buttonfly thank you for your kind words. Life isn't an easy road, and there's been a lot of heartache along the way.
I'm not living on Kirsty's boat, god no! I just stay over a couple of nights a week. She is hardcore though, a very strong woman. I'm a lucky man. Thankfully things with Sarah, my wife came to an amicable end and we're still best of friends.

I love this article and had a good laugh. I think the writers did too and think it takes all of us a while to find…
Australia: Scientists find clitorises on female snakes https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-63967778
But the female sex organ had been "overlooked in comparison", researchers said. It wasn't necessarily that it was elusive - rather, scientists weren't really looking for it.
I’m sure there are quite a few responses of typical…

If I were a herpetologist, I'm not sure I'd want to admit to having gone looking for snake clitorises either, in fairness… It might invite some "Why're you so into snakes, dude?" -type comments around the water cooler.
-
I’m sure the snakes were grateful someone found them, but without a nice dinner and some wine first it’s just weird.

for anyone who plays or has been curious to try, today is a good day for forum members to play wordle
today‘s wordle should be fun for wearers of the 888 cut.

Sorry to hear that! Rest, fluids, and hope you’re feeling better by the weekend.
I'm all good. This is the third time I've had it. Each time, the symptoms have gotten less troublesome. Just more of nuisance, really. The most bothersome thing was having to tell the ex. My daughter was here, this past weekend, and was possibly exposed. They are leaving tomorrow, for a Christmas visit with family, in Poland…
