Ordered this on the 13th…was expecting to see it arrive here in Berlin next day, much like all of my other IH orders in the past.
Got a message from UPS that is was held up in customs, which was a first for me.
The 14th came and went---then the 15th.
Now today UPS says it has cleared customs and should arrive on Monday the 18th.
Im thinking its a BREXIT thing---cant wait to get my hands on this jacket.
Good thing I have the patience of a Saint:)
Something that real Germans have zero of. -
It’s everything I imagined and maybe even more.
-
Congrats on surviving the wait! Fantastic fit as well
-
Rox !! Long time no see Haha yes..the waiting is really the hardest part.
Another one off the list. where have you been hiding these days? -
Yeah it’s no joke when you expect an item before the weekend and end up having to wait till the following week for it
Exactly just that…hiding. too lazy to log on or conversate
-
Thats exactly what happened ! Ordered it on the 13th–-had to wait over the wknd until the 18th to pick it up.
But now its here and all is good in the world again.
Good seeing you again -
Sizing question for you all. I sized up in this jacket. The one I had before was from an older run and it was just a little too sung. Anyway, do you think it fits? Too long?
-
Thanks @sabergirl. It felt a tad long but I think it works.
-
Looks good to me!
-
Looks great @Wlemon
These are made longer to incorporate the hand warmer pockets and in order to combine better with longer undershirts or shirts, (although Haraki-san probably intended it to give better coverage when on a bike).
If you want one that sits at the belt then one of the more traditional models over a tee would work best. However I think that looks very tidy. Arm length is perfect, it looks fitted when done up and just covers the belt.
-
Gotta agree with what the others say @Wlemon.
I just got mine a little over a week ago and ive been wearing it every day since.
The arm length is perfect, sometimes you see guys cuffing their jackets or shirts just to make it break at the wrist. You can tell that its way too long…sometimes by an inch or more.
The length looks good---just like @neph93 says…the traditional is shorter, but you lose the pockets. -
That’s a phenomenal fit Wlemon !!

Thank you all for the input. After putting it on, I was a little concerned with the length, but if it doesn't look too long, then I'm very happy overall with everything else. Now I just gotta break it in!

Will,
I'll just add to the chorus of other voices and say that it's a great fit. I have a few jackets that are shorter than yours and there are certain shirts that I can't wear with them - the tails hang out 6 inches below the jacket and look ridiculous.
Your jacket will work great with a layer or without.
-
Forgive the comparison, but it's the only other type III I have.
If I'm an L in the IHJ-69-KHA, anyone with both of these jackets can recommend a size in the 526PJ? I'm thinking it might need to be the XL based on the shoulder measurements, but if this has some stretch, maybe the L would avoid it being too big?
-
Run a compare and you should be able to answer your own question…..

Cheers Giles. I figured someone who might own both could add something on top.
