IH-666S-142 - 14oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
-
I've looked into it more and think the 666 could be a good option for me still, I'm slowly moving away from the slimmest jeans. If these are hemmed to the right length they always look great without being too bulky with extra folds. Thats just my opinion
I wanted to see if this denim takes the same amount of time to fade as the 21oz?
I've got 200+ days wear on the 555 21oz and they're only really now showing whiskers and fading.
Cheers

I was going to get the last size 38 with my stimmy check but now that it sold I'll get the OD version since OD seems like it's going the way of the Dodo. I'll still be picking up another pair of these when they're restocked.

Great fit, are you the same size in other IH cuts?
Yes and no. The 14 Oz got a lot of stretch in them, so while I can still wear my 14 Oz. and 14 Oz OD in size 34 with additional corona kilos right now, the heavier size 34 models won't fit at the moment. In the IH cargos I own I sized up to 36, which was a good decision.
Pro tip: Allways look at the meassurments and know what you need, because there will allways be slight differences from modell to modell or even between the jeans from the same run. It sometimes pays off to ask the crew to take meassurements, for example for a size 34 with a little more waist space.

@Planesio When it comes to Iron Heart jeans, I just go off my ideal waist measurement which is 37.5-38 inches. For the most part I'm the same size (38) in every cut. However, tag 36 works better on some models. After much trial and error I have come to the realization that the 666 is the best jeans cut for me.
The real trick is to know your measurements. I base all of my purchases off measurements and not tag sizes. If I can offer any advice it would to measure and remeasure all your existing jeans, go off the size charts, and remember that a snug top block is a better starting fit than something more loose. Lastly, keep in mind that some models of cuts that you like may just not be for you.
I write this message as I stare at the two pairs of 666 I just bought sit across the room for me. At this point when I see a pair of 666 with perfect measurements I usually just buy it even it's for backup. I can't see myself finding a better fitting pair of jeans.

This is excellent advice, every word of it.Couldn't have said it better myself

First pair of IH in several years. Love the 14 oz denim (hands down my favorite denim) and the fit!!!

Great fit @tatmantall looks perfect paired with those bad ass boots!
-
@Giles : any chance we might be seeing a 14oz left hand twill or comparable “lightweight” any time in the foreseeable future?

This is going to be my main pair for the summer. I'm planning on washing them a lot more regularly to see what kind of vintage aesthetics I can get.

I was psyched for size 35, but I guess I shouldn't have delayed. I hope you guys make more 35's!!!

Just ordered a pair. Louisiana heat was too much for my 21ouncers.
