IH-727-KHA - 9oz Mercerised Selvedge Cotton Mid/High Rise Tapered Chinos - Khaki

How is this different from the IH-721-KHA?
-
How much does this fabric stretch?
-
Will there be a restock of the sold-out sizes any time soon?

Nvm, looks like Division Road did stock size 35, so I’m all set, thanks for pointing me in their direction

…great addition to the pants fleet!

Those look great. Iron Heart chinos are the best. They only get better as you wear them.

Just got these in and the fit is a dream. Chesson and I dreamed up something cool as well… pics to come

@motojobobo - I'll do my best to get some pics up today - Was looking to use them for a full day to do a property showcase of our upgrade

At first, let me start by saying what a truly knock out pair of chinos the 727 are.
My qualms with chinos prior to these were that for me, they either fell into the “oversized” look on me, or the “oh dear god are your thighs able to breathe” category..
Thankfully, with the 727, I can move around when I feel like getting jiggy with it, and they still look smart thanks to the taper and moderately sized leg opening.
When it came to chinos as well, I would always size them in the inseam to wear with boots.. and if I wanted to wear them with trainers, I would have to cuff 2-4 times, as the legs opening were usually larger..
So Chesson and I were working on a project on a larger cuff chino until she showed me a trial image he did on the khaki fabric - and it was love at first sight.
What we did was take an amazing chino, and size it to work perfectly for boots for a work ready pair of trousers that fit in with most crowds outside the opera.
The same cut and finish works idyllically with chucks and vintage trainers for those “after work” fits where you unbutton the collar and relax a little..
BUT WAIT!!! THERE’s MORE!!!
.
.
.You would never know, but there is a cinch tucked into that neatly folded, vintage singer hemmed selvedge leg opening
So if you want to feel a little air along your ankles, show off your kicks, or go for a walk along the beach without sand getting into your cuffs, these are the combo for you!
(Cinch pulled all the way to exaggerate how snug you can get them)
So now, you can get ready for that summer barbecue and dress in style, and not have to worry about your Japanese chinos dragging in spilled BBQ sauce that your annoying neighbor Fred knocked over.
Fck you Fred. Fck you…
Luckily, I’m covered [emoji1690][emoji1690][emoji1690]
And FWIW, you can ever so slightly cinch them
Without anyone really noticing, and take an 8.5” opening down to under 8” for an even more trim ankle without much crinkling of the hem fabric.**in the future, I would hem 1-1.5” shorter than standard so the drape is cleaner when the cinch is pulled.. but we wanted to make sure it worked before I had a chino possibly too short

First denim work pants, now chinos?! ??? You’ve been killing it with your ideas for versatile, functional bottoms Adam! Are there more in the works???
