@Filthy:
I wanted to post an update and answer my own question regarding the XHS BB denim:
@Filthy:That's awesome. Do they have a soft hand or is it rough?
After wearing these for a couple wears, they definitely do have that velvety XHS hand that I love and admire so much. They feel every bit as thick and heavy as the other pairs of XHS I have owned. The denim has a very smooth hand compared to the 21oz SBG pair that I have them to compare them to. I think I wore that SBG pair about nine months or so and they are unwashed. The 21oz denim kind of has an almost corduroy feel to them and the XHS feels smoother and more dense and velvety. I love it.
I got the tagged size 36 waist to stretch from a 35.7 (soaked) to exactly a 37 (both the Self Edge laid flat method, and IH method).
I am so pleased with these jeans and am very grateful to have them!

Like five wears and two nights sleep

I am sure you're gonna love them. I had another inquiry about these too so I wanted to let everyone know about how awesome these are…just make sure you soak them because they will bleed black like crazy. I would not put these in the washer until they are very well broken in because they will definitely get marbling and "washer marks" I think I rinsed them five or six times after I did two boiling hot soaks.
I would try to get as close to an inch of vertical shrink in the inseam as you possibly can.
If you do plan on washing these in a washer to shrink I would follow Haraki-san's ancient wisdom found here:

Hang dry em outside and wear them as much as I am able to this weekend. I am getting super stoked my guy. . .schools were closed today due to flooding and my idle mine is racing!

@Filthy liking those photos, I'll be using a tag 36 in the 555 for indigo invitational.

Interesting, has anyone ever done black jeans for the Indigo Invitational before?
lol yes there were a few guys with black jeans the second go around…Bazhad from N&F wore a pair of black selvedge.

…@Oaktavia if you had to choose, better loose than too tight. Iron Heart belts are pretty cool!

@Paul9221 So inky! I dripped black dyed water all over the fecking bathroom…but it cleaned up quite easily.
@vaquero357 definitely agree with you on that one. I actually kind of prefer a little loose.
@Jett129 I was just thinking that! Brandon was initially suggesting wearing the indigo dyed belt with black denim.
