IH-888-XHSBB - 25oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut - Black/Black

…@Al 916 I wouldn't say oily but definitely there's a 'sheen' to them for sure.
Now, I didn't 'boil' them, just through them in the washer so I probably retained a lot more dye than even soaking them I would think....on the other comment , I don't have 'thunder thighs' but after a routine of leg extensions, leg curls and leg presses my XHS-555's are at the limit and I always look for thigh measurements of a minimum 13" on pants and I believe the XHS-888's are about 14". The top block is roomy for sure on the 888's but that's why their really comfortable to wear with no restrictions.
...as @neph93 mentioned they will calm dawn with wear as these are still 'popping' when I walk!

Quick and dirty fit pics. Despite them being very tight on my pelvis I got them buttoned up with little to no trouble at all. Before anyone asks, no I won't be getting them hemmed and am sticking with this size cuff…
The denim is very black and no streaks or anything. The denim is ridiculously heavy. Very, very nice.

I also forgot to write that the denim has that very soft and silky hand that the usual XHS has. Most excellent

I'm wearing these for the first time today because I am going to be in the office for meetings. The waist sure is tight.

I wanted to post an update and answer my own question regarding the XHS BB denim:
@Filthy:That's awesome. Do they have a soft hand or is it rough?
After wearing these for a couple wears, they definitely do have that velvety XHS hand that I love and admire so much. They feel every bit as thick and heavy as the other pairs of XHS I have owned. The denim has a very smooth hand compared to the 21oz SBG pair that I have them to compare them to. I think I wore that SBG pair about nine months or so and they are unwashed. The 21oz denim kind of has an almost corduroy feel to them and the XHS feels smoother and more dense and velvety. I love it.
I got the tagged size 36 waist to stretch from a 35.7 (soaked) to exactly a 37 (both the Self Edge laid flat method, and IH method).
I am so pleased with these jeans and am very grateful to have them!
Some evo pics:
Like five wears and two nights sleep

Heck yeah @LewisStonehouse I have this denim in the 777 cut and are my favored pair for my rotation. For sure a winter favorite…

Nice @Oaktavia - looking forward to getting back in some XHS and it’s my first pair of non-indigo jeans for about four years
-
Nice - the Mrs will be chuffed with the bath At least I'm doing it before we move into the our new house!
Good to hear they're already yielding, any chance of a few snaps to peak my excitement please?

While the black dye is easily cleaned up, it still might leave some drips when lifting the denim back out when it's done soaking. Mine certainly did..still have a couple black spots in our guest bathroom tub/floor lol.
I'll take some photos when I get home for ya.

Cheers dude!

Missed my deliveries but have had a notification that these sat safely in my recycling bin. From amongst trash, to adorning trash, whilst being trashed

Wait… so someone muddled through your recycling bin, opened the package, and then through them back??
