IHSH-37 - Spring Weight Mini Herringbone Check Western Shirt
-
A little shocker when I saw this: http://www.kaizoku-pirates.com/SHOP/4743-2.html
Uncanny resemblance to the IHSH-37. Upon "closer" examination, this is different in terms of style (western vs. work??), pockets (2 vs. 1), buttons (snap vs. regular), collars (regular vs. button down), front placket treatment and fabric (brush vs. non-brush and herringbone vs. regular). All is calm here…... ::) -

^dunno, the FC Shirt isn't herringbone, I think…
-
It is scary how similar they look, particularly if not looking for all the details. I guess the details is what makes IH different, but still, on an instinctive level I gotta say this feels way too close to the 37…
-
wow, it really does look similar.
well, i still love my IHSH-37. i love it so much that i bought them in both colors. the red after the blue of course.
can't say which i prefer more tho. they are two very "different" shirt. i just wear whatever color which appeals to me on that day.

Haraki says the following:
He said he doesn't know about the material and the construction of the material looks totally different. It is possible that the textile maker copy the pattern and made in different material or construction, but there are nothing Haraki san can do about that.
-
Thanks G for clearing this up. Haraki-san is right, just the pattern but everything else is different.

Great Shirt and great fit!

@ Alex: Great shirt, i got one too. Any update on the DC4001?
-
just bought the blue one from dc4 and for the first time i sized up.normally i wear large in IH shirts but for some reason this seemed a bit tighter/smaller than the IHSH 22s or IHSH 32 flannels i own…
the sleeves seemed shorter.the fit of the XL is spot on.its a great shirt plus haraki san`s latest fabrics have a nice vintage aesthetic which i really like.
