IH-777-XHS-INDI've always wondered how that sweater would play with a type III, and never thought to ask. Turns out it looks fekkin ace.

Thanks Luke and Reuben!
I'm glad you think they are the GOAT pants by the way

I'm living in the damn things. Took me a minute to get used to a zip fly, but other than that they are amazing. Super comfy and the extra layer is genius. I love the way the exposed edge wears and pulls.
-
I find a zipper superior to the button fly. I fantasize about a pair of XHS with a zipper and a felled inseam all the time. Also no back yoke so it would be more comfortable when you sit down.
-
Zippers are great. You miss out on button fades though which can look very cool. One advantage of buttonflies is I never need to XYZ–pretty hard to forget to close up shop when you're done with your business with buttonflies.
I am trying to figure out how a yokeless jean would work but I bet you have something in mind @Filthy –I think you'd need to have darts or some other way to reconcile the structure of the jean from the hips to the ass or they would look terrible. Darting the fabric from the waist might be robbing Peter to pay Paul--you might encounter the same discomfort. and a buckle-back is definitely worse (but then I can't recall having seen a buckleback that doesn't also have a yoke).
That said, I've never experienced discomfort from a yoke to begin with, perhaps because I haven't messed with 25oz.

Basically these but 25 XHS and sewed on back pockets
And a chain-stich hem instead of the singer job.
