Some sartorial bonding with my daughter today… (thanks @cityofdelusion for the shirt–I've been wearing it a lot).

We realized last Friday that it had been 5 years to the day since our first date. The IH henley and hoodie I'm wearing here (and most of my IH gear) are much older than that. Now we have a daughter who will be 1 in a couple of weeks. I didn't think I was going to get married or have a kid (or even wanted one) when I met Brandi, but here we are.
For our first date, I suggested a restaurant I was keen to try that was also on Brandi's list, and we hit it off right away. We then went to a bluegrass show and had the best time. It's been very natural ever since, and becoming ever harder to remember what it was like not having her around. That's unusual for me, because I generally tire of people, even when I'm quite fond of them, but I rarely feel like I need alone time away from her (I am an introvert and easily annoyed). Even more remarkably, she hasn't tired of me (in addition to being easily annoyed, I am easily annoying) and also enjoys spending a lot of time together. We haven't stopped talking to each other and making each other laugh since, and what we didn't have in common before, we've mostly grown to have in common now.
Here we are taking a walk at sunset in our local park with Hattie last Friday, shortly after realizing the first date anniversary was that day.

That's a great story as well as a great picture @mclaincausey. Sounds like you and Brandi struck gold with each other!

We got a passport for Hattie. Snapped this while we waited.

Thanks @mclaincausey
Your picture is a blue print for this thread!
A recurring theme around this forum is wives, husbands and partners, children or parents stealing our clothes, or alternatively, having Iron Heart pushed upon them reluctantly or otherwise. Is this wise? Are we educating and raising our loved ones to appreciate quality, or are we just projecting our expensive addictions onto them?
Any pics already posted elsewhere are welcome here, any stories funny related to theme are too.
Have at it, boys and girls…please post … -
IH pant from @Megatron1505 my son adores and the IHSH-21-black from @chiverus , circling within my triplets.
