IHJ-507-SLB - 16oz Slubby Selvedge Denim Type II Jacket - Indigo
-
@Joberwocky – I'm going to be ordering an XL which has almost exactly the same measurements as my IH-526J. Just about .5" slimmer in the chest.
-
It's only slightly slimmer than my Stormrider in the chest, but the sleeve length is soooo much better
I suppose if it was a little big from the start I could hot soak the heck out of it to try and get it to it's absolute smallest size, though the specs claim I won't get much shrink. I'm Leary to size down from my uhf western size to the medium, unless I plan on it being a t-shirt only piece -
Sleeve length is epic for me, too. Yeah, I'd be bummed if this was a tee shirt only piece for me. Looking to mostly wear in warmer weather, but want the option to layer.
-
Well, @henry_david I'll let ya know when it shows up

Up the weight on jeans and type 2 & 3 . I would
Love to see you guys make 21oz slubby and 21oz type 3.
From todays standard 16oz is light on slubby fabric .Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jacket showed up and the fabric, while "light" is a really texture and the drape of the type ii works well with it. I'll get some pics up tomorrow when I'm not wearing charlie brown lounge pants
-
Just threw it on once I got home from work, so I'm a bit on the unkempt side, but suffice to say the jacket is rad and .pleased with the fit/length. I think I can comfortably soak or wash it without being concerned with it not fitting, and I've still got room for a UHF
-
Looks suuupppeeer rad @Joberwocky
-
Went with my UHF western size, think it worked out. I'll probably post a comparison between it and my storm rider later, since they're the two jackets I have from IH (I know, gasp, no type III)
-
No Type III?!?! How could you @Joberwocky?
-
Great @Joberwocky looks awesome
-
Late but as promised, both my type ii and Stormrider are size L, same as my western UHF size. Wearing with an IH thermal and still plenty of room, not that they're unbearably thick but proving layer-ability (technical term)
While I clearly wasn't smiling enough in the second photo, I'm astounded my hands are near identical
-
So yeah, absolutely love it
-
Beautiful jacket, I am so tempted
-
The "lighter" relative weight mixed with the type ii cut makes this jacket feel nicely broken in right out the bag, though the coarseness of the slub was a welcome surprise. By no means is it rough, I'm just super excited to watch it evo and fade. Im also digging the shorter length, the only bummer being the large chest pockets still aren't big enough to reasonably throw my comically large phone in
I've never owned a denim jacket with no hand pockets, and I don't think miss them. They're a corduroy-lined blessing on my Stormrider, but this jacket doesn't need them (the bottom hem sits above my pants pockets, so they're still readily accessible) -
