Gives a faster break in.

Giving them a hot soak before wearing also takes out the remaining shrinkage. The XHS denim is lightly sanforized and you'll get between a half-inch and inch of inseam shrinkage with that soak. That will theoretically give you crisper honeycomb fades over the lifespan of the jean, though I'm not sure how much it matters in practice.

Yeah the texture gets really nice and comfy. Haven't seen the sweatpants levels Sabergirl is always talking about but hopefully mine will get there at some point!
