IH-634S-19L - 19oz Left Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans
-
The sun briefly came out so I took the opportunity to go outside in my underwear and take a couple more pictures.
This is my favorite detail about these jeans… How curly the selvedge ends are. It makes some interesting fade patterns and awesome train tracks on the outseams and there's a curl on the right inseam too.
The honeycombs are super interesting and they have a ton of character and depth.The sun vanished again so they don't appear as bright.

You have no idea how much I appreciate being able to wear them. @thomas01
-
@Filthy do you prefer these or the slubs more?
-
The 19L 1,000,000 percent. NGL they were rough and miserable for me to wear the first couple months. But now they are super soft and have that ultra-plush and luxurious IH suedey softness I love so much. The 16 oz slub is a cool fabric for sure, but I love denim that's heavy and rigid and the 19L definitely fits the bill. @GardenState

Mike that is the answer I was looking for a 100 percent. I have some other brands for slubbiness. I swung and missed with a pair of Strike Gold LHT (fit was not ideal for me). Wife says I should get a wider cut than my 555s so thinking this denim. Now just can't figure out which cut. I also love that crunchy rigid feeling at the beginning so these seem perfect. Do they breathe more than the xhs? @Filthy

The 634 is a very flattering cut it looks great whether sized right up/down. I love it a lot. My advice is to get some fit pics of the different cuts and let your wife decide what one though. I'd go 634 or 777 if it were me.
do they breath more than XHS?
They are 6 oz lighter, seem more rigid than XHS, but yes breath more than XHS. @GardenState
-
I like the 633 but was leaning more toward the 777.
-
@Filthy These are going to see a ton of wear this winter and hope that by early next year I will have some fades that I can share with on here.
Im already contemplating picking up a pair of 21 lefty's down the road.
-
This is going to be a cross- post. My FG19L and my favorite jacket ever and favorite UHF ever.
-
@Filthy Love the character that this denim presents. You're in direct sunlight but it looks like there are a lot of places where bright blue is already poking through. Are these as dark as they say when brand new? If so then that is some killer contrast developing. Also, love the shoes. Wesco Romeo?

@GardenState custom Zerrows Side-gore in blue suede
@SKT thank you!
@Oaktavia thank you! -
@GardenState just re-read your question. I am apparently only semi-litterate or ADD or something.
There's parts that are as dark as when they are new and there's quite a bit of fading going on. Especially from my lap to my knees and all the high points on the combs…

@Filthy
All good, figured I was just asking too many questions. I plan to buy these just cannot figure out the cut I really want. Part of me wants to wait until I am in England in a few weeks to visit Rivet and Hide or something. Thanks! They look spectacular
-
@GardenState if it's something Iron Heart you really can't go wrong! It's really all great no matter what you get. I do think that you would really like this denim though. It's really great. I'm so pleased with mine.

@Filthy
Well see I was an adventurer until I took an arrow to the knee… so I need extra knee room.

That's from a Capcom game called Dragons Dogma. One of my all-time favorite adventure games. I get the Skyrim reference though. I played that one about 1000 hours. I'm about 600 hours into Cyberpunk now. Those games like that are so addictive to me. Open world adventure games.
Anyway every time you buy something that guy says that. He says it like hundreds of times.
-
Yeah I had nothing from that game. I tried out Cyberpunk but I have difficulty finding time to play games these days. Wishing I had more time. I honestly get enough time to play like 15 minutes of Call of Duty or something similar (Death Loop right now).
