IH-526J-SLBod - 16oz Slubby Selvedge Denim Type III Jacket - Overdyed
-
@BrianA if I was going to buy one I'd probably go with the XXXL, wear it over a t-shirt and accept I'd never get it done up beyond the first couple of buttons, if I wanted to do it up over my waist I'd have to go XXXXL - and even then it's a little snugger than I'd like in the waist and a little too roomy in the shoulder (the XXXL is perfect in the shoulder)
Type III and me just don't agree
What size do you wear in a UHF/denim shirt? I’m a 3xl in both and torn between 3/4xl on this one

First wear on this jacket and loving it so far. The slub is amazing!

i think this piece might have finally changed my mind about the black overdye

IMO the overdyed jackets or vests are the most impressive OD garments IH makes, slub or no slub. My wife has an 18oz OD and it's awesome. Something about the OD with the patterns involved just look cooler compared to bottoms. Not sure why!

I understand the feeling. That’s how I originally felt about OD pieces. Once I got this jacket in hand, I understood the OD hype. I’ve been wearing it everyday since I got it.

Been wearing this every day since I got it. The slub looks great in natural light!
-
Looks like the creases are set with some very minor fading.

Sweet fades!
Just worried that it fades too quick. I am looking at peoples fading images and I seem to fade my stuff so much quicker… As in my 888-21od are blue over the knees after only 30 wears. Same for my ib stuff.
Maybe I should offer a fading service? People can send their stuff and I will get them started

20 days of wear , fades sensational

Really coming along nicely — and damn fast @Daniel San

@dinobarnesberlin
yes it´s awesome .
I thought it might be a fast fader , but didn´t expect it to fade that fast. -

I thought it might be a fast fader , but didn´t expect it to fade that fast. That is interesting to me because I was under the impression that overdyed denim in general is slow to fade. Is this an overgeneralization about OD and is fade rate more based on the denim itself, regardless if its OD or not? @Giles
