IHJ-116-BLK - 14oz Selvedge Denim Fleece Lined Modified Type III Jacket - Black

Didn't expect this one, and it looks amazing…had to cop.

These must have had a shipping delay curse…my shipment was delayed several times due to "sortation error" and a "delivery accident". Finally made it up to the Rockies, and the jacket is spectacular. Fit on the L is spot on for me. Love the oversized sherpa collar, it really sold the jacket for me.
Murdered out in my 8301SBG and a tshirt.

I got mine earlier this week and yeah, this is an all-timer of a piece. The lining feels great throughout (nice soft pockets) and makes this the perfect jacket to throw over a t-shirt in these mild PNW winters.

Looks stunning!

Sizing advice- I am a small in the Indigo western, and medium in UHFs. I've used the compare function on the website and still feel like i'm a little unsure what size is best, since those are shirts and this is a lined jacket. I'm thinking to size up to the medium since this is a jacket and its lined and everything, which may account for the measurements being a little larger than what I'd usually go for. Advice is appreciated!

I don’t have a fleece lined Iron Heart jacket, but I have a blanket lined type III that I was able to own in both a M and L. I kept the large, and am very glad for the little bit of extra room to layer, etc.
I am normally a size M or L UHF, though I usually buy the L to be able to account for shrinkage from the dryer.
Personally, I would go for the medium, especially if the sleeve length is still doable for you.

This badboy is warm AF, but I feel like it also breathes pretty well as I'm not getting overheated in it. Starting to break in a bit after a few wears…I can tell it's going to be rad as it starts to evo.

Got mine, absolutely love it. This thing is even better than I had hoped although I did size up from my usual sizes so that I could layer underneath it.
The only thing it's missing is a pocket on the inside where I can put my phone. Something like what's on the leather Type III would be nice, but I'll just take it to my tailor and have him add one on the inside. Otherwise this thing is bang on!

First new IH jacket for me in a long while and damn, this beauty is sweet. Perfect weight and the fit is spot on. Also my first Type 3...

Dreamt that this jacket would be made - and lo and behold - you heard the words spoken on my knees…. A black type III with a proper Sherpa collar. I’m XL in UHF and was recommended XL, and that way I’ve got three different type III: this one is amazing to layer with a thick knitted jumper. Even though it is perfectly warm on its own, and also breathes as mentioned by the good folks above.
LOVE it so much. Started to break in immediately. Light and superfly. Had to really focus on the jacket while taking a mirror selfie.. can’t take my eyes of it. Also, it looks Great on the Beach… with a black background and an all white background to boost!

@Giles
Indeed! Well spotted! A Norwegian classic that my wife gave me for Christmas. Fish with denim. Could be useful on your Ocean travels, Sir! -
Hi All,
Ive just been lucky enough to snag a used one of these, and while im awaiting delivery, all i have to do is worry whether it will fit! The one i’ve bought is labelled as 38. Does anyone know whether 38 equates to M or S in the measurement charts?
