@Oaktavia @T4920 I'm intrigued by this sleeping in your Iron Hearts. Do you do it to soften up the fabric? Or to speed up the fades (or both?). And do you get blue sheets?
I would try but my bed partner won't let me.
I sleep only in my IH shirts. I've tried wearing bottoms to bed like Mike but I get too hot and the feeling is too restricted for me. I don't think I would want to wear a jacket either, so kudos to @T4920 for doing that. I can wear work/westen/CPOs just fine so I stick with those. I sleep in them because I just love the feel of them and it feels fun to completely maximize the wear with them. My 295bb was so tough and stiff at first, I didn't want to stop wearing it before bed. Plus my wife understands my obsessive personality and had gotten used to it .
Even with my neurotic-ass self tossing and turning all night, I do not think the fades accumulate to much if anything at night. But part of me thinks my wabby CPO that I've been wearing nightly since late December would look different had I only wore it during waking hours. So maybe it does do some nightly indigo shedding. Our sheets are already blue/green so no noticeable crocking. Likely would be different with a new indigo top and white sheets.
Also if I die in my sleep, at least my ghost will have an IH western or CPO to float around in, paired with my drawers.

Thanks so much for your detailed response @Oaktavia! It's fantastic to read how all of us here obsess over our Iron Hearts in different ways (some more than others).
This cracked me up:

@Oaktavia I fell asleep for like a 3 hour nap today in my 64 and blank wabby bibs…it was so surprisingly comfortable. You may be onto something here

@T4920 - truly a perfect fit. how did you find the right size? so far i didnt have troubles with IH sizing but this one is a head scratcher
so far i have found perfect fit with work shirts in M and westerns in L -
@prpx as the conventional wisdom goes, trust the measurements!
I think this one works particularly well for me because it's extremely slim in the torse, but has some extra room in the shoulders, which means movement isn't restricted like in some of my other slimmer fitting jackets.
With the variance in sizing typical between different runs and styles, you're sure to find some jackets that fit like they were tailor made for you, but on the contrary, they'll also some that just aren't meant to be...

@prpx If it helps, mine is an XL and I'm 182cm (6ft) tall and 81kg (12st 6lbs)
it helps, that's almost the same as my height (181) and weight (77). thanks, you really helped a lot
so now i know my size, and the watch for restock is on

Always trust the measurements and I can’t stress it enough. If in doubt please contact the shop - shop@ironheart.co.uk for assistance.
What is heavier a pound of pennies or a pound of feathers? They both weigh the same but the volume that they take up are completely different. Comparing yourself to someone else just on height and weight is a road to disaster…
