did you ? ha, well played….
I did. I've actually bought three of these lol. Started with the XL, thought it might have been a bit big so I sent it back to IHUK. Got a Large…then decided I would try an XL again and picked it up through SE. Now I've got two and have decided to keep them both ??? lol.

The 527J is still my all time favorite jacket. This one though is coming in second. I wore the black one to the Grocery store and got 2 compliments on it. Here's some better shots.

I vote Large too, Paul.
Great fit, Roman!
As much as I'm in love with this and wouldnt trade it for the world, I'm feeling our Aussie friend on the hand pockets creating an undesirable line across the midsection (which with wear will become less noticeable, I'm sure) def need the extra length but I could see losing the slash pockets in future iterations.
Paired with 633S-OD
Unbuttoned photo is unretouched…

@Dishelveled yours is the first pic where I see that inner pocket line show up so markedly. Wonder whether it shows up less with looser fits? Can't really compare with @ROman 's pics as the bottom half of his jacket is in a shaded area. I guess I'll just hope so as mine should be a looser fit and I'd prefer it not to show so much; but I won't have them in hand for another month.

Is it the pockets causing the crease or the way it was folded during transit? Haven't noticed the crease on mine

Thank you, Paul!
I'm just nitpicking, I'm sure it's only noticeable in upclose pictures anyway, but Scotty brought it up earlier and I noticed it again today. Def the seam and not a folded crease, GC–as its matches the top of the internal pockets exactly.
Also think its magnified from the magic wand color enhacment. Here's a buttoned unretouched....

I expanded the shots above, and don't notice the crease. I just did a bathroom shot, which I dislike, with the jacket buttoned all the way and don't really notice a crease.

And I thank you for that. It's already packed for my next job in Baltimore.
-
@ROman great fit bud. Well done

Thanks Matt.

I see what you mean. Wabi-sabi and all that. Would a steamer smooth out the fabric? I have no idea how corduroy reacts to steam but it might be worth a try, otherwise, I personally don't think it's that big a deal. I get it though, we're all a nitpicky bunch so it's hard not to notice inconsistencies.

I looked at mine tonight and it has the crease from the internal pockets. But, it doesn't bother me at all and I don't see it as a defect or something that takes away from the jacket. There's a 99% chance no one would notice it out in the wild anyway. Still a fave for sure

Think it's more noticeable on the Beige vs the others, but agree it's a minor quibble and not an issue in action in the wild.
Bottom line the jacket is an absolute stunner!
