. I should make Saturday, probably not Friday? That weekend is the Round The Island Yacht Race, which is massive in the boating calendar, the worlds biggest yacht race in boat numbers, should be plenty to see on the water if you make your way to the beach.

Anyway, thought it was high time for an update! It hasn't gone unnoticed that a fairly major football tournament will be playing quarter-final matches on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th - so just wanted to reassure everyone that I've just bought a TV Licence for the office and those who want to watch the footie will be well catered for (as will those that don't!)
Unfortunately the local brewery cannot accommodate us on Friday after all, so current plans are:
Friday 6th July - Iron Heart office from 6:30pm to 9:30pm (pub afterwards)
Fish and chips and lashings of beer/drinks (plan is for food to be delivered around 7:45pm).We will kick everyone out around 9:30pm so that we can tidy up ready for the next day, and we can all head to a local pub (probably the Victualler).
Saturday 7th July - Iron Heart office from 2:30pm onwards
Drinks and snacks a-plenty, and at approximately 5:00pm we'll fire up the barbecue, with a selection of meat (and veggies) including Alex's wonderful yakitori (sampled last night).
Of course, there'll be lots of opportunity for those who want to look around, try stuff on, get stuff hemmed etc.
Somebody please keep an eye on me on Saturday evening, on Sunday I am participating in a charity yoga event, doing 104 sun salutations, I really don't want to have to do that with a dreadful hangover!
Can't wait!
