I think that patina looks great, Giles! Maybe keep it around for a while, see what develops.
a cup of water with 1 or 2 tea spoons of vinegar, half a tea spoon of salt and a piece of aluminium foil - a few minutes will bring it back to shine…
I kinda like them better now…
I was always told to take all jewelry off when diving as it attracted barracudas.
oh, I‘ve just seen that also the gold ring has gained H2S patina - the aluminium electrolytic trick only works with silver but not for gold (wrong electronegativity)…
