IHSH-207 - The Almost-Crazy Check Ultra Heavy Flannel Western Shirt
-
Wow just tried on the IHSH-207, and the Aspero cotton feels amazing, and the colours are psychedelic
Finally braved up and grabbed it, before it disappeared -
Damn, I should have bought this one.

For your wife? This one may have been a little small on you mate
@Indigohuntsman Nice score. It looks great. Be very careful washing though, these will shrink easily with too much heat/agitation.

Not the XS, the shirt

Thank you neph93,
A bit worried now, so with a warm soak, would that be fine, you think?
I'll take some proper fit pictures, over the weekend. -
Congrats on the UHF! They’re unreal aren’t they? Nice fit on that, but it looks like you don’t have much room for error, so be careful washing/drying. UHF can shrink a whole size with hot wash and tumble dry.

Thank you sabergirl,
I'll try to be careful, maybe with a luke warm handwash?

I think you'd be safe with a cold handwash. I have a few uhf's and have only washed 2 of them. Both are xl's and I did a warm machine wash and hang dry and saw a little bit of shrinkage. My other uhf's in size large haven't touched water yet

Hand washes or indeed low spin machine washes at 30C won’t cause shrinkage @Indigohuntsman. Stick to that and you’ll be fine.

Thank you Gaseousclay.
I will be careful, as the fit seems perfect now.

Hello neph93, and thanks again.
I warm soaked my Wabash 12oz western shirt (xs) recently, which had similar measurements to the (xs) 207, and shrunk slightly, mainly in length and more of a snug fit now.
And any special detergents to be used with these UHF?
-
I wash mine at 30-40C, 800rpm with regular washing powder. Others may disagree, but they are only clothes made of cotton. Wonderfully designed, beautifully cut of excellent material, but still clothes. Wear, wash, repeat.
neph93 do these UHF shirts stretch after wearing?

Agree [emoji106] I use plain old liquid detergent. They’re clothes and don’t need to be babied

I just use generic Walmart Gain on my Iron Heart shirts because I like the way it smells. It almost has a patchouli smell mixed with other shit that smells like fruit. I have put several of my UHFs in the dryer to shrink them when I was skinny. They stretch back out and are my favorite ones now because they are so worn out. I use this thing to shave off all the pills and fuzz balls on them too so they are super soft!

I use whatever perfume free/dye free Target brand detergent when I can. Or Woolite Dark

And thank you all for the advise
