Or roll the tractor over the jacket in the driveway a few times.

Lol. I may just do that. My neighbor and I would have some fun doing this with a few bourbons in the belly!

Definitely cheating. Although if there is bourbon and fun involved I may allow it [emoji1]

Great shots @Powerband . The upside down crucifixion was especially cool. Looking forward to the fit.

After the soaking, a small amount of shrinkage was expected and experienced.
Based on the shrink-test results posted at the beginning of this thread, I had bet (hoped) that my SMALL size IHJ-72 will shrink to how I want my fit, and I was correct:
Sleeves shrunk the most, as predicted; it went from 26 to 24.8… a little more than an inch, making the sleeves just perfect for me.
The length of the jacket went from 23.6 to 23.
Shoulders went from 18.3 to 17.8.
Chest went from 21.3 to 20.8.
The jacket was dried by this morning so I got a quick picture (sorry for the grainy photo—it is low light in the bathroom).

Well that is just amazing! Excellent work @Powerband

Lots of excellent fits in this thread, @jstark , @Steve , @Zein1505 and @Yogi217 to name but 4 guys killing it in this jacket… And @Powerband now joining this esteemed bunch with a fit that's just right, short-but-not-too-short and boxy-but-not-too-boxy, and compliments your style just excellently by the looks of it. Well done, sir!

Thank you, Crit. I have been wearing this jacket regularly over the last few weeks and am marveling at the changes, particularly that it has become a system of fairly “fitted tubes” for each segment of my torso. It’s like soft, comfortable armor. The creases have occurred quickly and the fades at high points are already noticeable. A very natural jacket to carry along and to wear.

Tempted to snag a pair but cant decide whether a Large or XL will work. Am currently a size Xl in Flannels and I have a 43chest with 18 shoulders. I know there is shrinkage to be had in these.

Honestly, at least for me, the shrink wasn't noticeable at all.

I asked Steve (from the crew) about that and he said shrink wasn't much. I went with my chest measurements. I like to be around 43, my medium was something like 43.6 (21.8 p2p)
For reference, I'm either a medium or large in shirts and jackets. I went with medium in this…

I soaked mine in cold water, minimal agitation, for 30 minutes. Dried it in the shade laid flat on a towel. The shrinkage is as followed on my jacket sized 36:
Shoulders: 0.25 inch
Sleeves: 1.2 inch
Chest: 0.5 inch
Length: 0.6 inchI had approximated this from the test results listed near the beginning of this thread, and therefore expected the shrinkage. My result was very consistent with the list given.
It is such a freaking nice jacket.

A bit of evo on my sleeves. More pronounced after a wash.

Lovely denim on denim there. You’ve achieved a very tasty fit on that jacket @iamlebing
