IHV-32-IND - Cotton Padded Vest in Indigo
-
More fit pics! I normally wear L in work shirts and XL in westerns… with this vest I went with an M based on measurements but I think it came up a little small on me (little too short and a little too trim). L might have been better for me but I suspect that I might just be in between sizes...
I also think the shape of the neck on this vest makes my shoulders/neck line look huge. I wanted to love this vest and I think if it's ever made without the denim yoke I'd probably go for it 100%. Anyway, this M will be making it's way back to IHUK soon...

Thanks guys! I have a IHV-31-BLK in a L coming my way I'm gonna try out first… only thing I'm worried about with that vest is if it would be TOO warm given I live in the south and we only get like 1-2 months of cold weather.
Anyway, back to the IHV-32... the color and weight of the body is great on this piece. The denim yoke is kind of hard and rigid fresh out the box which probably contributes to the vest making my neck/shoulders look huge. I'm sure with some effort you could get the denim to break in there... maybe with a few washes or something?
Would be great to know how that breaks in over time so @Filthy if you are getting a lot of wear on this it'd be great to know how it goes with the denim yoke!

It's 21 oz denim, so it is sure to be a stubborn fader. It's also 70 degrees F here so I won't be wearing again until it gets colder.

It looks great! Still think i could need this one

Cheers mate @Max Power not going to talk you into, but I love it, perfect layering piece, comfy, not too bulky and ace to touch. Here and there I am still surprised after all these years, haha
